Excellent locationPosted Nov 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Amazing value 2 bed and 2 bath apartment just moments from the Alcazar and cathedral. Some fixtures a bit tatty and in need of some repair, but the apartment was really clean and comfortable.

Great area/ stayed at the apartments not the hotelPosted Oct 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved the area. The service was poor initially due to one employee, after he left we had good service from then on. The apartments were in a great location, clean and well equipped. The breakfast offered with our package was lackluster and not worth extra money.

Great location, great pricePosted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Lack of some basic amenities
Great location - only a few minutes from the cathedral and centre of Seville. The apartment was a good size and perfectly comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being a student and so on a tight budget, the price was also very reasonable and was one of its main attractions. I just wish that more cleaning equipment was provided in terms of cooking - there was only one small scrubber provided and no washing up liquid, cloths or basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper and oil (when you're only staying for a couple of nights it's not worth buying these). Other than that, a good place to stay!

Interesting locationPosted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The motel was comfortable with clean rooms, knowledgeable and helpful staff, good bathrooms, firm mattress but very soft pillows (typical of Spain) Great location in the old quarter of Seville. Good place for a short stay.

Great location and large comfortable bedsPosted Jun 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very happy with the apartment. The location was excellent ie in the historical centre which means lots of atmosphere. It also means that you will hear lots of church bells if there is an religious festival on. You will also need to keep the windows closed (if you don't like cigarette smoke) when there are smokers in the courtyard area.

Great Place to Stay in Santa CruzPosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for 3 nights at Apartamentos Murillo. The apartment/hotel is located on a narrow pedestrian street within an easy 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar. There are many restaurants in the neighbourhood and the Murillo garden is closeby. We arrived early and the friendly receptionist took our bags so that we could explore the sights until our room was ready. We checked in at 15:30 and our apartment was on the first floor facing the inner courtyard (quiet). There are 4 apartments like this in what appears to be a newer part of the building (# 18,19, 27,28). The room was reasonably large and had a kitchenette hidden behind folding doors (microwave, 2 burners, fridge, sink, dishes and cutlery for two). Everything worked well - free internet. Breakfast was just across the street in the hotel and was plentiful. The staff at the desk were very helpful and spoke English. Apartamentos Murillo makes a fine base from which to explore the sights and we would stay there again.

Very good but not excellentPosted Mar 30, 2013
Pros: Location. Ambience
Location: In historical centre, close to places of interest
During our visit to Andalucia, we were in three cities. The location of Apartamentos Murillo is excellent: very central and convenient, though it is easy to get lost at first. The decor is lovely. The narrow laneways are full of character and add to the holiday experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We would have liked a kettle and a sponge and washing-up liquid for washing the few dishes which we used. These are often supplied in other apartments. We ate the buffet breakfast in the hotel across the road on our first morning and made our own the following two mornings as it wasn't as good as breakfasts elsewhere during our stay. The beds were not as comfortable as beds elsewhere. Seville is an expensive city and we visited in Semana Santa, probably the most expensive week, so our visit cost quite a lot. Because of that, we probably expected perfection, whereas what we experienced was very good.

Great value & locationPosted Mar 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great choice for people who want to be in the thick of everything. We got the bus from the airport to Plaza San Pedro and the apartments are a 10 minute easy walk from there through Jardins de Murillo. The staff at reception were very accommodating & friendly. Our apartment had one bedroom and was very spacious with a large kitchen/lounge area and good sized bathroom with full bath and shower. The kitchen was very well equipped although we didn't cook and only used the coffee maker!! The apartment was very comfortable & spotlessly clean (in fact one of cleanest places I have ever stayed). And although we only stayed 3 nights it would be a good option for longer stays. The surrounding area is Barrio Santa Cruz which is a bit touristy but there are lots of places to eat & drink and its a short stroll to the Cathedral & Alcazar. The noise carries up from the narrow streets below but there was no noise within the apartment complex and the noise in the street dies down after midnight. Overall a great place to stay for location & value.
