“Great value”

The hotel was clean and friendly. The breakfast was hot and good. Not a lot of frills but for the price it was a great buy. I would stay there again. I was there for a week. I felt safe being at all times.

“Hawthorn Suites - excellent stay”

Exceptional stay. Very comfortable and superb accomodations from the staff. I was there for a family reunion. Several cousins, etc. stayed at the hotel. The actual reunion event was at Clay's Park. The "after party" ended up at the hotel. The staff invited us to use a conference room which became the perfect ending to a great weekend. We had two tables of card games, hangman, boardgames - PLUS - they allowed us to use the pool beyond the posted closing time. There hospitality was extremely appreciated.

“Love it... Well Return”

I loved this hotel. Price was a little more than I orginally wanted to pay, but when traveling with 2 kids under 2 you have to really look at the whole picture. The pool was nice, a little disappointed there was no hot tub, but overall very nice. We had several people in the pool and enjoyed it (ranging in age from adults to less than 1 year.) I wished our room was layed out a little different, but it was more than roomy for my 2 kids and all of their junk, me and my husband. We even had enough room to inivit his family over.

“Would go back again”

The rooms were great. there was plenty of room and the fridge and microwave in the room made it easier to not go out every night. The overall hotel was always clean. The only minor issue I had was the serving of eggs everyday and not being able to get a glass of water with my breakfast instead of juice or coffee.

“Hawthorne Suites Akron OH”

Very comfortable. I had a billing problem and was taken care of before I checked out. Very friendly staff.

“Pillow Talk”

The linens and pillows could stand to be upgraded. Blankets were cheap and pillows were small and uncomfortable. Everything else was just fine.

“Garbage left in garbage cans, bed unmade....”

My husband stayed in this hotel over the last weekend( 6/4) and when he entered the room he found the bed to be unmade ( like someone just got out of it), trash in both garbages and opened soap and shampoo left in the bathroom. By no means did I expect a 4 star room but I did expect the room to be ready for him at 11pm when he came in.
