Nice clean hotel with likeable, helpful staff

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff with good suggestions.
Cons: Breakfast - it was the same the three days we were there.
Location: Fronting a supermarket. Had to walk a few blocks to get to a ride though easy to have the hotel call a taxi.
Nice hotel but had to walk narrow streets over cobbled stones to get to public transport.

Small, comfortable typically Spanish hotel

Location: Hotel in walking distance of all attractions. Eating places varied and close. Would stay again.
Room excellent value, even included our own rooftop patio! Very comfortable.

Excellent experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Abril, The staff were extremely helpful in every way, especially in helping with our onward journey to Cordoba and the hotel was of an excellent standard and at a good price, located in a central position without being too noisy.

A good value hotel in the centre of Seville

Posted Apr 21, 2013
the desk staff were very friendly, the breakfast, while extra, was valus for money with a good selection to allow for different cultures' tastes. It was very clean and quite central.

A very friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee was great. Very good value for a hotel in walking distance of all the main sites.

February in Seville

Posted Feb 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Plus side - hotel is in a great area if you want the "real" Seville, all tiny tapas bars and interesting shops and markets. On an evening there was free wine (delicious) and coffee (less so). There is a supermarket directly opposite which was very handy. Down side - quite noisy the weekend I stayed and breakfast was only so-so quality. The hotel is down a small street which made it hard to find after a night out.

Hotel Abril

Posted Jun 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Nice, comfertable, clean hotel with friendly staff. The location was quite good in a nice area. Our room was above reception, the stairs to the upper floors and the breakfast room which meant the room was very noisy at night and early morning. I would request not to have a room on the first floor becuase of the noise. Would stay again.

Hotel Abril in Seville Spain - quaint, old, fun

Posted Feb 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is an old hotel in the old part of Seville. It has old world charm, it's clean, has free Internet. The beds and bath are okay. The noise level is high. It is right across the street from a supermarket, which got a very noisy delivery, taking half an hour, one morning before 7am. It cost a lot to park 3 blocks away, but there was no way to park closer. The hotel is on a one lane cobblestone street. It is pretty close to many attractions.

Value for money

All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and although the Abril is only a 2 star hotel, I found it to be adequate and comfortable. The hotel is well located and is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other places of interest such as Santa Cruz and the Alcazar. There are also many tapas bars in the area. I would be happy to stay in the Hotel Abril should I ever return to Seville.

Very central, but hard to find.

We found eventually on foot, we then went to get the car, and took 45 minutes to find hotel again because of the maze of old one way streets. Taxi went straight to it. Hotel was nice, but we had a groundfloor room, which meant you could hear the front desk all night and early morning. Overall though, I would recommend this place as the price and location.
