Great Hotel Friendly Staff

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, cleanliness, friendly helpful staff, situation, traditional decor well set out rooms where you can see to do your hair and make up.
Cons: Nothing as far as I can see.
Location: Central location, easy walking distance from some great Tapas bars and short walk from all main sights. Avoid the red buses though.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I am a bit fussy. I had a small single room as did my friend but just for a change the lighting was good and it was well set out. The staff are delightful and very helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts the bread was fresh and a good variety for all tastes. Great range of croissants and they were deliciously fresh!. The fruit was exceptionally fresh and sweet. The coffee machine takes a bit of working out but hotel staff are quick to demonstrate. For once I could have my usual 4 or 5 cups, it wasn't bitter for a change or too strong! The hotel is situated in a great place with access to many really good Tapas bars. Turn left as you leave the hotel for the best ones. This hotel is not too big to be impersonal and it has a very traditional Moorish feel to it. It is kept spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Small, friendly hotel in a great location

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Great location, only a short walk to the Cathedral and other interesting areas of Seville. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: For a three star hotel, it is what you would expect.
Location: Hop On and Hop Off bus tour was great fun negotiate your price! Try the roof top bar at the EME cathedral hotel - wonderful views, great cocktails.
We spent three nights here in two rooms at the back of the hotel (double room for single occupancy) so no view but nice rooms. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and really easy to walk everywhere in Seville from here. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and lots of taxis around. Breakfast was self service but quite a good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Posted Oct 26, 2014 on Hotels.com

Posted Oct 9, 2014 on Hotels.com

Only good thing,thelocation

Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Only location
Cons: Everything
Location: Everything ir nearby
The,Room Was really disappointing. Very tiny, no view at all. I asked to be changed And the lady said That maybe next day, the Only window faced like a chute, nothing to see but pipes. The re Was Only one nice person at the reception area, a young man, Who was kind enough to get me a sewing kit, And call a taxi. When we left we asked the same lady That received su when we Arrived to call a taxi for us, And told us to go to the nearby street and flag it. This lady should receive a course in human relathions, And how to treat clientes. No recommendarion from me for this hotel

Comfortable and Convenient

Posted Sep 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were delighted with the Hotel Las Casas de Los Mercaderes. The location was excellent - very close to the Cathedral, the Real Alcazar, and therefore not far from the river. Our room was nicely furnished and very comfortable, and very quiet. There was plenty of closet space. Seville can be confusing; the hotel was about a two minute straight walk to the Cathedral, and that made it very easy to get around without getting lost. The staff were very helpful. We were very satisfied with everything about the hotel, recommend it highly, and plan to stay there again when we return to Seville.
