Hôtel bien placé et bien tenuPosted May 3, 2015
Séjour agréable, de la place, chambre plutôt bien décorée, une jolie piscine et terrasse sur le toit, cependant l'hôtel n'est plus tout jeune, il mériterait une climatisation récente et une meilleure isolation sonore.

A dissappointing experiencePosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Location - city centre
Cons: Staff attitude and facilities
Location: The famous cathedral and lots of tapas restaurants.
The photos of this hotel on Expedia Website feature a rooftop terrace with a bar and a swimming pool, however, those facilities were not usable. According to the explanation of one of the hotel staff they will open in May. It was warm enougn in Seville while we stayed and eating/drinking alfresco was seen everywherein the city. The website does not mention about the seasaonal restrictions to these facilities and we find it quite misleading. Also Expedia website says the hotel provides airport transportation which is non exisitent. So this is a complete misstatement. All the staff at the hotel look sullen and are not very helpful nor friendly. This hotel is listed as 4 star and we cannot see why. The room we stayed in has no bath only the shower cubicle. I don't think this fact is highlighted as part of room features. All in all it was a very dissappointing experience.

Good location, great room.Posted Apr 26, 2015
Location: We loved the Alcazar and the cathedral . We took a trip to Córdoba which was interesting. We stayed 5 nights which was a bit too long, 4 was enough.
The Internet was down throughout our stay and the front door was repaired during our stay so we had to use the back door but it was early season. Basic facilities. We ate breakfast in local cafes which were great.

Very central , great positionPosted Apr 26, 2015
Location: There's a palace behind the Opera area, a lively tiled bar in the Opera square opposite the theatre on the corner with good food.
Lovely hotel, welcoming staff. Good breakfast. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but there were lots of restaurants nearby. Lots to see in Madrid- we loved it, but take a jumper- the wind is cold. The temperature was colder than England in April which may be unusual but caught us out.

Great hotel in the historic Santa Cruz districtPosted Apr 16, 2015
Location: should see the Alcazar, the jewish ghetto and the cathederal.
We stayed at hotel Alfonso Rey X for three nights. The room we were given was a junior suite that was very modern and updated. All the floors including the spacious bath were marble. Our room overlooked the plaza and was bright and cheery. The staff was very helpful ,epecially the desk clerk Lupe who obtained and printed our boarding passes for our return flight. The only downside was the cost of breakfast which was 18 euros and the t v volume was so low it could not be heard 5 feet away.Would return to Rey Alfonso X if we get back to Seville.

I want to give it morePosted Apr 16, 2015
The staff and location of this hotel are great and as always we enjoyed our stay in Seville. Unfortunately there is a but and it was the hotel facilities and the room. They had advertised a pool but they close it at this time of year, the communal areas were small and nobody used them so they lacked atmosphere and the beds were very hard in the rooms, so much so that my wife said that she couldn't wait to get home at the end of the week. To be fair to the hotel, we told them about our bed and they upgraded us to a suit but while the bed was larger it was still just as hard and the suit faced an internal courtyard and it was very noisy due to the fact that on one side are apartments and their children screech and screem while playing there most of the day. The double glazing works well but when its 27 degrees outside its a shame to have your windows shut all day. The staff were lovely but there are a few things that the owners need to work on to make the hotel great.

Good location, good spirit of townPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: wifi speed

Excellent hotel, strategically located inside town. Very close to everything. And fan-tas-tic access by car (big deal in these medieval towns!!!) Garage right in front of hotel - another big deal. Very good breakfast. Walk to anything you need to see in Toledo.

Excellent hotel in the heart of SevillaPosted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Staff; modern, clean rooms
Cons: Ensure visitors do not smoke in the rooms.
Location: All tourist attractions and shopping.
Everything about my stay was fantastic. The staff is wonderfully accommodating and polite. The rooms are clean and modern. The location was perfect--in the heart of Sevilla's Juderia.

Solution idéale pour une découverte de Séville.
