Excellent location

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: The ambiance was impressive.
Cons: Hotel staff could be more forthcoming with helpful information.
While visiting Seville, this was the perfect hotel, location, ambiance and decor. As you know, walking is the best travel method and the central location to many of the important sites in Sevilla made this hotel exceptional.

A quirky hotel with constant surprises

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: The charm and individuality of this hotel.
Cons: Our room was small but we didn't mind that. It was looking a little shabby and worn, though. Could use some refurbishment.
Location: It is very close to both the Alcazar and the cathedral. The neighbourhood is pleasant, with narrow winding streets and lots of bars and restaurants.
This hotel is a warren of hallways, stairs and small patios and gardens. We were always exploring it and finding pleasant little corners. The rooftop pool and bar provided great views over the rooftops and was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Unique and quirky hotel.

Posted Jun 9, 2014
It is a very unusual hotel. Location is very good, and room rate was a good value. Room was generously sized, including a large bathroom. I suspect that each room is different. Pool, lobby, and courtyard were very nice. Rooms were a bit older, and the buildings are spacially separated from the lobby. Internet service is in the lobby and courtyard only, which can be a bit problematic. It was approximately 4 - 5 minutes from our to the lobby, through a series of underground tunnels and above ground courtyards. Overall, a good experience, but a very unique and quirky hotel.

Amazing unique hotel in a great location

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: The character and diversity of the courtyards and the large and comfortable room
Location: A short walk to the old town, Catedral and main shopping district. Also close (across the street) from our favourite tapas bar in Sevilla.
A wonderful experience in a unique hotel, 11 old houses joined by a series of beautiful courtyards and character filled tunnels. A real experience to be savoured.

Interesting and beautiful hotel

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Calm atmosphere, beautiful, courtyards and interlinking walkways, good rooftop terrace
Cons: Unfortunatly, plumbing noises(flushing) from own & neighbouring rooms very noisy at night
Location: Very good location, easy walk to all main sites and places to eat
Wonderful ambience of network of rooms and courtyards. Very comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast not great value and in below ground space but plenty of alternative cafes nearby as alternative

What a wonderful surprise

Posted Jun 1, 2014
We had trouble finding the front door because we thought it was a palace. The modest reception area gives on to a great surprise. Cobbled streets lead to doors almost hidden in the courtyards. We had a ground floor room next to the dining area with our own courtyard with an orange tree and a fountain. It was a wonderful stay. This was a superior room but that doesn't always mean much. In this case it was a wonderful room. Spacious and comfortable with a sitting area and an enormous bed. Great bathroom. We were very happy. Given that we have stayed in quite a few places over the past twenty years this was excellent value for money.

No wifi in room and complicated walk to room

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Good location but as hotel is combination of many old houses the tunnel and stairways to reach room each time became ponderous. No wifi in room a nuisance. Wifi was only in a central area.

Fantastic location in the heart of Seville

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, close to all the main attractions but far enough away from the main Barrio Santa Cruz which can get very crowded.
Cons: Do not bother with breakfast in the hotel? At 19 euros per person you will easily find something close by at less than half the cost.
Location: 5/10 minute walk to Cathedral & Alcazar palace. Park close by which is lovely to walk through at anytime of day. Many bars & restaurants on doorstep
The hotel is situated in an ideal location with numerous restaurants and bars close by. The cathedral & Alcazar palace are both 5/10 minutes walk away. The hotel consists of a number of old houses which are linked together by walkways all of which are covered in greenery & flowers making it very photogenic. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which was on the first floor. The room did not have modern furniture to say the least however it was furnished in keeping with the overall style of the hotel & had a lovely & very comfortable four poster bed, along with a double seater sofa & chairs. The bathroom was huge, comprising a jacuzzi bath, separate walk in rainforest shower & his & hers sinks. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you would like to stay somewhere different from the norm
