Good value, good sized room, convenient location
Posted Jan 24, 2013
Pros: Room size, location, breakfast
Cons: Lack of character
Location: Bus stop just outside for getting into town. Walk to town about 20 mins. Bus stop to airport only a short distance too.
We had a double room with sofa. It was a good size. Room had a laptop safe with power point so was able to recharge sat nat, phones etc while not in the room. Minibar was reasonable priced at 3.50 euro per item (not bad for a small bottle of red wine!). Breakfasts very good, buffet style with lots of choice. Bus stop just outside for getting into town and buses run very regularly till 11pm but not recommended for later. Walk to town about 20 mins. Bus stop to airport only a short distance too. Downside the room and hotel had very little character but a good reasonably priced choice for visting such a beautiful city.

Very comfortable and good location/ price.
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Price/ room size/ comfort/ location
Cons: Breakfast was noisy and busy.
Booked this hotel for around £73/night with breakfast. Hotel is in a great location, you can walk into town in 15-20mins. You can pay 12 euros for access to the city bikes for one week where the first thirty mins is free and there is a park outside the hotel and a flat bicycle lane on the pavement all the way in or an underground station across the road with a ticket costing 1.35 euros into the city.there is an underground car park costing 14euros/ day. Rooms are quite big and clean and with a proper queen size bed and duvet( not to singles pushed together) carpets were a little tired, breakfast was passable but a bit of a zoo. It obviously hasn't got the character of the boutique hotels right in the city but was clean, comfortable, good aircon , sky news and at the price couldn't be faulted.

Novotel Sevilla for families

Pros: Breakfast, children's games (Kinect), convenient location, friendly staff
Cons: Football stadium quite close by
Location: Close to metro station, or about 20-25 minutes from city centre
My son (8) said: "The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and the games (Kinect) were very entertaining. Overall, it was awesome." My daughter (12) said: "I liked the beds, but the hotel was too near the football stadium." (It can be a bit noisy if there's an evening game.) "There were a couple of English TV channels and free Internet access." My wife said: "The room was nice and the staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel's location was really good and the room was extremely clean. Excellent for a short city break."

Stay Away: bad location
Posted Jan 24, 2012
Cons: the reception staff
Location: not a good location, away from the center.
not a good location, and the staff is not helpful and is not well-trained to accomodate guests' requests. I booked a non-smoking room, yet the room had a smoking smell, and the staff refused to move me to another room in the same floor.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Hard mattress and no real English tv channels
Location: Exceptional
Brilliant hotel friendly staff, lovely roof pool, brilliant hot and cold buffet breakfast kids eat free, free wifi very central and our room overlooked Seville football stadium as we went to watch them play Barcelona and you can't get any closer a brilliant shopping mall ten seconds away only fault was the mattresses was a little hard and only two English tv channels but everything else made up for it, plus secure parking for a small charge

A block from metro line only a few stops to center
Posted Jan 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
We travelled with 4 and 5 year old children. The front desk people and service was excellent. They had welcome toy and lollipop for kids. They also had a playarea with a nintendo station for the children and a convenient restaurant on the first floor with decent food for adults and kids. Only a block from the Metro and a great pool on the roof with good service.

This was a really good hotel to stay in; the location was very good, within walking distance of the metro and main train station. Also restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity was very convenient. I like how the hotel caters for children with a small play area in the hotel lobby as well as Xbox and play station games to keep older kids entertained. Free wifi in rooms a brilliant bonus!
