Wonderful Parador

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful magnificent views over countryside and fabulous pool and restaurant.
Cons: We were not given any information about a bus service to Sevilla I think it would be great for Parador to provide a shuttle for a price.
Location: The Parador is in a great little regional town with local Caf├ęs there was a fabulous mid to high restaurant just around corner serving great meals.
Hadn't realised how far Parador de Carmona was from Sevilla but in a lovely regional town

beautiful stay near Savilla,

Pros: I can't say that I didn't like anything about the Parador de Carmona. It was a wonderful stay for three days.
Cons: Add a Sauna near the pool.
Location: Cordoba is a day trip and Rondo can also be.
The Parador de Carmona was a wonderful respite from a busy and hectic visit to Sevilla, and since it was west of Sevilla, we had a wonderful day trip to Cordoba. It was beautiful, and the rooms were very clean and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic.

Pros: The dining room and reception area's are stunning
Cons: Hike up from the pool
Location: Sydney
Excellent hotel and services. The swimming pool complex is beautiful however getting there and back is an effort because of the steepness of the path.

Hard to find

Posted Apr 28, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Road to hotel from highway
Location: Superb
They need more signs depending on what highway you come from. Hard to find. The food sounds interesting on the menu but lacks zest, flavor and appeal. Just bland. The breakfast buffet is fine. The city has the best tourist map with numbers corresponding to large plaques in the road. Best tourist map in the country. Great views. Don't miss climbing into the tower of the Segovia gate for great views. Be sure to walk the town.

Historical Carmona

Posted Apr 4, 2013
Pros: The sense of history
Cons: None
Location: Good for Carmona, just a 5 min walk to the centre
Lovely old castle, beautifully renovated. Very helpful staff. Carmona is an interesting town with lots to see, not very far to drive into Sevilla and about an hour to Cordoba.

Stay if you want to enjoy a pool...

Posted Sep 25, 2012
Pros: Exceptional pool, beautiful common areas
Cons: Poor air circulation between smoking and non smoking areas, poor sound insulation between rooms
Location: Carmona is a quiet town outside of Seville. More of a layover stop than a destination.
The siting of the hotel, the pool and the lovely grounds are exceptional. The rooms, however, are a bit dark and starting to show their wear and tear. Bathroom doors didn't close, the air conditioning system had a tough time keeping up and was circulating smoky air from some other location that made it feel like someone was smoking in our room. Like many of these paradors, the walls were thin and we were repeatedly disturbed by inconsiderate neighbors.
