“Large affordable room!”

Nice, new hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Easy to get to city center.

“Good choice”

New hotel with very nice rooms and conveniently located to the train station. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the sites but not bad. We did have trouble finding a place to eat though- even when the staff gave directions, they were wrong (wrong street on map, etc). Therefore we didn't get great food like we expected- so don't count on the hotel staff for a reco...

“Great place to stay”

This is a wonderful hotel, I would warmly recommend it. The furniture and amenities in the rooms are a bit avantegardish, so if you don't mind this - it's a good value. The view in my 16-th floor room could've had more "sea" but was good enough. In general, the views from the top floors are incredible. The architecture is nice but if you are an adult and want a pool (the have two, both rooftops) - forget it. The rooms were small but ok for one or a couple. The hotel is 1 min from the subway station and 2 min from the sea (there is no beach there - just a highway). The stuff was also very helpful.

“Good, but a little far from the historical sites. The price was OK”

This hotel is a little far from downtown. It takes about 20 min walking to the historical sites. The pool close very early, 8:30 pm.

“Well below par”

This hotel is fairly new, but like opening night at the theatre, the cast still has some things to work through. Many of the amenities claimed were either not available or not working. The rooms are not quiet, and they have music piped into the halls very loud until midnight. The staff provided very poor service (slow, indifferent) and I will not go back, ever. The ad says they are within a few hundred meters of the main train station. It is more like a mile. If you set off on foot you will not get a cab along the way. The rating system in Europe is not based on customer service as is factored in for the US system. It is based on things like "do they have a business center" and "do they have a restaurant on site", etc. They have a 4 star rating on that basis, but since the business center was down (no internet available) it should rate a 3 at most. Service is 1-star.

“Very poor service, noisy”

For a newer 4 star hotel one would hope the internet in the business center functions, that the hotel staff could turn down the mood-music in the hallways by midnight and that the walls would not be so paper thin that one cannot sleep. I will never go back to this hotel. The staff is indifferent and lack no authority to do much of anything. They don't seem to care.
