Lovely Hotel, beautiful city

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly, smiling staff who where more than happy to help us check in. Since we were really early and there was a wedding the night before, our room wasn't ready so the staff presented us with a range of options, looking after our luggage and providing a personalised map for us to explore the city a little, or welcomed us to enjoy the pool or other facilities. Once our room was ready, it was clean, spacious and very well presented. The bathroom was spotless and provided with everything you would expect. At night, the room was silent and pitch black dark, and I have never slept so well!! Overall, we were delighted with the hotel, its facilities, staff and the room we stayed in, the Palace restaurant was delightful and the pool was beautiful. Thoroughly recommended.

As good as advertised

Posted Sep 12, 2014
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My expectations (based on the feedback and images) were all met. Location is perfect, bus station to Sevilla sites is located just beside the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good although would recommend more variation since we stayed there for 6 days and ate the same food every time. It was a great experience overall and would definitely come back!

Good hotel for the price, great breakfast and pool

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The buffet breakfast is great and the pool area and bar by the pool was lovely. It's an easy 20 minute bus ride into the old town.
Cons: The shower did not have a shower curtain so it was difficult not to spray water everywhere in the bathroom. The shower would be great with a curtain!
Location: There are some good restaurants in the nearby Heliopolis neighborhood. There are also some little Chinese markets in that area with drinks and snacks.
Overall the hotel was great. The staff is very welcoming and the service throughout the hotel is friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast is very lovely and the pool area is lovely and relaxing. The bar at the pool also had good food and drinks, but they were slightly expensive. It's a 20 minute bus ride into the old town and a shorter cab ride. The Heliopolis neighborhood near the hotel had some good bars and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting some relaxation by the pool, if you're trying to see the sites in Sevilla I think it would be better to stay closer to the old town.

Lovely hotel with a pool and children friendly.

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, it had a pool which was important to us, the hotel was very attractive and clean.
Cons: The food and mini bar items were expensive.
Location: The cathedral/town centre was ten mins away by taxi and taxis were on standby outside the hotel at all hours. The cost to town was 5 euros approx.
The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The only point I would raise is that the food/drinks/mini bar items were all quite expensive. The town centre is ten mins away in a taxi which was approximately 5 euros. Taxis were easily available at all hours just outside the hotel which made our trip easier as we were there for my sisters wedding so getting around by taxi was important to us. This was one of the only hotels with a pool in Seville and the reason for our choosing this one as I had my 4 year old granddaughter with me who had a wonderful time in and out of the pool. There was a supermarket 5 mins walk away which was helpful. The hotel was beautiful, clean and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. The flight and hotel deal was very reasonable at £288 pp for 5 days in August at peak season so we were very pleased with this deal. We had a lovely horse and carriage ride around the town which enabled us to view the beautiful buildings around Seville. This cost 45 euros.

Lovely hotel

Posted Aug 14, 2014
We stayed here for three nights in August. The hotel is extremely clean with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The pool is a bonus at the end of a hot day! It, too, is well kept with a nice poolside bar. It is about a half an hour walk into the centre of Seville, which is fine if you enjoy a walk (as we do!). Otherwise there is a very reliable bus service from outside the hotel, there are bikes for hire or a taxi ride of around 7 euros. A good choice for a stay in Seville!

Luxurious Hotel For A Great Price

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The service was excellent, the interior design is pleasant, food was fantastic, spacious pool, efficient staff, nice bathroom and much needed air-con!
Cons: The night time entertainment - it is non existent! Probably the only downfall of this hotel.
Location: It is situated beside Real Betis football club, with plenty of Tapas places nearby. The bus ride to Seville centre comes frequently and costs only 1.20
Initially me and my other half paid £200 for both flights to Seville and for a weeks stay in the Silken Al-Andalus. For this price, we was not expecting much at all and when we first seen the outside of the hotel it brought up the worst - however do not let first impressions fool you! The moment we walked inside we were instantly impressed on how well maintained it was. The main reception was quite small but there was plenty of staff to ensure the check in went efficiently. The main all was stunning, decorated with artwork, hanging plants and a soothing background noise which gave of vibes of a real palace. Upon making our way to the room we were delighted to feel the cool temperature it was kept in which was a relief in the 40 degree heat. The bed was large and cosy, and the bathroom was well kept with two sinks and a more than satisfying shower/bath. Also in the hotel was fridge to keep things cool and a safe to keep things secure which was only 3 euros a day. Staying over the course of the week we ate inside the hotel twice for dinner and once for breakfast, and all three times the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Outside, the pool was spacious and never too crammed, with plenty of sunbeds to go around and a pool bar which was refreshing. Overall a very pleasant surprise which we thoroughly enjoyed!

Seventy cents to city centre

Posted Jul 12, 2014
What a week, a great bargain got better with our daughters being upgraded, well we only paid, but a double with the one you love is better than any upgrade. So a great start, and excellent reception staff who offered an alternative when we found our double was a twin . Lovely pool and coffee in Jen's special room. Very handy for the bus , a minute to the nearest stop, a one fifty trip to Seville, 70 ish cents with a card purchased from a tabac, what value. Food around silken is limited, el 37 was very overrated on TripAdvisor, cannot think of where to recommend. Very obvious overcharging one accepted, other lack of understanding. On balance lets go for the one turnright outof hotel, cross dual carriageway, turn left, and restaurant on corner. Real Betis stadium very near and great landmark. Weather was sublime

Good transport links

My stay here was a pleasant one. I found the hotel clean, bright and spacious. It's quite big, compared to where I would normally stay.it is more of a business hotel, not the greatest of views or balconies on each room. Which didn't bother me. Room was cleaned every day. Bed was big, Hard as hotels usually are. Wifi was rubbish but there are Internet connections in your room. I didn't eat there at all so can't comment on the restaurants. Pool area is very nice clean and tidy. Bus stop round the corner takes you to either of the 2 bus stations in centre for € 1.4. everything was easily with in walking distancefrom these. Sevici bike rack also just round the corner.
