Great Hotel 20 minutes drive from Eiffel Tower

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Staff friendly, clean facility, nice restaurant, Internet and Printing available if needed free of charge.
Cons: More English channels for those who want to relax and watch TV after a long day of walking around.
Location: A couple of restaurants closed by, Highway around the corner for those who drive.
We are a family of 4, kids (15 and 11), we stayed at this Novotel for 1 week on our trip to Paris and had an excellent experience staying here. Decent rate, Staff is very nice and helpful, they all speak English, food at the restaurant was good, good price and service was great. We rented a car and drove downtown Paris, Eiffel tower is only 20 minutes drive, very close to the Palais Du Versailles ( about 15 minutes drive). Our room was clean, enough space for all of us, mini fridge, expresso/coffee machine, safety box, HD LCD TV. Only 1 English channel (BBC) for those who like to relax and watch TV after a long day of walking around. We did not use the public transit but metro is a few minutes walk, staff at hotel vey knowledgeable about public transit and places to go around. Underground parking available at a decent fee. Wi-Fi available free of charge everywhere, PC and Printing available is needed as well. I will definitely come back again.

Good service & comfortable

Posted Dec 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Smart city hotel with helpful staff and very nice room. The only negative was that a poster in the lift from the basement garage to reception promised catering anytime. However, when we asked about getting something to eat before an early start at the theatre, we were told that on Sunday evenings the kitchen does not serve anything before 7pm, the start time of the show we had to go to. Also, being Sunday evening before Christmas they did not know which restaurants were open. However, they did upgrade our room so we were amply appeased!

Thank you for taking the time to give your comments about your stay in our hotel. We very much appreciate your positive comments regarding your stay at the Novotel Paris Pont de Sevres. It is true that you can eat something at every time,. When the restaurant is closed we have a snack service at the bar. I am sorry that my staff do not inform you about this service. We look forward to welcoming you again at Novotel.

Beautiful room with tea/coffee making facilities. Everything you would expect from a Novotel - efficient comfort. Very close to a metro with easy access to Paris.

Excellent Hotel

Location: Only a 20 min Metro ride into the centre of Paris!
Hotel is the last Metro stop on the line without driving too far into Paris, this is why we choose it. The hotel was a good price with rooms that had just had a major refurbishment, they were clean, comfortable and rather chic! There is a secure underground car park which cost E17 per night however we were not charged for this. That was a really nice surprise!! The staff were brilliant and they helped us with any questions. Breakfast and the bar were good and well stocked. Fantastic hotel!

Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Distance to the city centre Small bathrooms
Very helpful staff I Stayed at the hotel with my husband and 2 children Clean hotel, spacious room but small bathroom Stayed for 4 nights, requested to be moved to another room as AC in previous room wasn't working properly. The lady at reception was very helpful in sorting this out for us. Breakfast though wasn't full English was of good quality Location not in the center of the city but there is a Metro / bus station nearby

Nice Hotel for Families

Posted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: The helpfulness of the hotel staff and the buffet breakfast.
Cons: The restaurant had a limited dinner menu similar to a coffee shop. Prices were high and service just adequate. The free WIFI was problematic.
Location: National Ceramic Museum, Parc de St. Cloud. Short bus ride to Versailles Palace. Ten minute walk to Pont de Sevres bus & metro station to Paris.
We are a family of four with two teen boys. We stayed at the Novotel Sevres while visiting relatives in town. Our room had a king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was on the small side and comfortably sleeps two younger children or one teen. For us, the room was crowded. We probably should have rented two rooms. However, there were lots of positives: an espresso maker, hot water for coffee & tea, a small refrigerator stocked with drinks, lots of closet and storage space, two TVs, a separate toilet room and another with shower/sink. Free WIFI. Lots of electrical outlets. The breakfast buffet was a hit since there were so many choices of food and drink. The reception desk staff was extremely helpful answering all types of questions and providing assistance. They stored some of our luggage when we left for a few days to visit London. They also called taxis, explained the bus system, and helped with printing tickets.

Great hotel, shame about wifi coverage

Very comfy beds and room....air-con most welcome. however the wifi coverage was very patchy which made for a bad experience when needing to use Skype.
