Perfectly fine for business trip accomodation

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Price. Convenient for office.
Location: New hotel located in a mainly retail area, lots of shops, food outlets. Well served by taxis.
Quite a trek from Pudong, but much better positioned for Shanghai Hongqiao Intl. That said, price was competitive and can't fault size of room, comfort or cleanliness. Staff efficient. Didn't eat there so can't comment but grill restaurant looked good and seemed plenty of choice. Large bar was gearedtoward the World Cup, very international. Recommended.

Lots of shops around

Room is clean albeit on the small side. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. A nice 4 star hotel.

Basic needs met, but service is poor

Posted Oct 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Rooms were small and not maintained to Sheraton standards. Service at the restaurant, front desk and guest services was not rude, but again lacked the guest service level I would expect at a Sheraton property. The surrounding neighborhood was great for shopping and dining. If you just need somewhere to lay your head at night, it's fine.

Totally fine

Pros: doorstep access to beer/western food
Cons: Distance from the real shanghai
Location: Close to heaps of western style shops, so, very good for the lazy western traveller and not so good for the adventurous.
Well run hotel with polite staff. Only thing, and I think this is probably par for the course in China; the internet access is a rip-off.

Mediocre

Nothing special: area is full of western-style fast food and restaurants and ample shopping including a supermarket; conveniently located minutes away from the train station; not much else to do in the area; acceptable in other respects; every floor that I've been on has water stains on carpets that look awful (I've been at the hotel on multiple floors multiple times over the past year).
