“Excellent Value, Pleasant Service”

By far the best of the 4 hotels I stayed in China. A 4-star hotel at a 3-star price. Great value, spacious rooms, and a good breakfast buffet. It was definitely worth it. I'll stay there when I go back.

“Shockingly suprised”

I usally stay in 4 star+ properties stateside, but needed this to fit in the budget for this China trip. I have to say that I was shocked at how nice the property was. I stayed 6 days and was VERY happy to have a suite with more then one room. There is no scene at the hotel bar. The gym is terrible, but there is one down the street I jogged to which was fine. Staff is great, very friendly. Shanghai is like any major city, and you will find what you need.

“Great Choice for Shanghai”

Great hotel. Not a good location for night life. Cab ride required ($2-$3 US)

“Suite rooms in Shanghai”

I like the suite format of the rooms. Everything was fine, except for charging extra for any kitchen utensils, etc. and the pernicious habit that is too common in many placeds of charging extra for the internet. I also thought it odd that all restaurants and bars were closed on April 4 for a holiday. First time I have seen that in my nearly 30 years in Asia. Location was fine with short taxi rides most everywhere.

“Good value for money”

Having stayed in a number of hotels in Shanghai this represented by far the best value for money. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced this will be my regular stop when in Shanghai. The only drawback is the rather slow check-in and check-out service.

“A Decent Hotel that Met My Family's Needs”

This hotel met my family's needs by offering a suite with two bedroomsand two baths to accommodate three generations. The kitchen had a fairly large refrigerator and freezer so we could go to the market and purchase basic products to drink and snack on. The amenities were good, with slippers, an ironing board, clothes line, coffee maker, microwave, and a wide variety of toiletries. I only have two minor complaints. I wanted to exchange money, but the hotel ran out of RMB for two days, so I had to go find a bank. Although I had difficulty finding it, it turned out to be only two blocks away. Cleanliness was not up to my standards. However, based on all the hotels we stayed at in China, it was the cleanest. The concierge was helpful and provided tickets to see an acrobat show. His recommendation was a good one, as far as the actual show we selected. We did not use any other hotel services, such as the restaurants or pool. The breakfast was overpriced for what we wanted, and there were several good restaurant options within walking distance. Overall, it was a satisfying experience that met my needs.

“A good Hotel in Shanghai”

The staff was very friendly and the room comfortable. Only issue was the carpets in the room looked worn and dirty, really need to be updated. Pricing was good but be wary of the "add ons". If you like breakfast, theirs is a nice buffet of both Western and Eastern styles, but it will cost you an additional 20 usd or so if it is not part of your rate. Also internet is extra althouh reasonable. The area is decent but it can be difficult for a taxi or your driver to get to as it is a very busy road and depending on direction travelled it may require going down the road a few blocks and executing a U-turn. I would not go out of my way to stay there, but if the location fits your needs it is a good choice.
