“Excelent!!”
I have enjoyed the two side view in the corner room. Wonderful Shanghai. Perfect ubication, in front of the people square, near Nanjing Road
“Great location, great service”
The location of the hotel is great. You can walk to all the nice restaurants and shops. Hotel is new and clean, and service is excellent. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.
“JD Marriott Shanghai, JD Marriott Beijing”
Both Marriotts were wonderful. The staff was particularly helpful with translation services and recommendations for site seeing.
“One of a kind, extreamley beautiful "Bullet Like Hotel".”
Excellent service, concierge very attentive to solve allaur doubts. He managed to get us a private tour for the city with Julie, a very friendley guide tour, who spoke very good english and so all the members of the staff. Rooms extreamley clean and comfortable and so the bathroom. It was a very nice detail the present of the little ceramic tea pot I received, and my friend received a piece of cake for her birthday ¡¡¡.
“Great hotel”
Overall it is great. Especially the location is very convenience.
“Not the best dollar for the money”
I go to Shanghai a lot. The outside looks very impressive like a tall bullet. I stay here before many times but not the best hotel that I stay. It is a truly 5 stars hotel but it can be better in some ways. Breakfast is not bad. Dinner at the hotel is super expensive, 11 people for over $1300 US dollar. Food is great, services is great. But if one person order 1 tea, they are serving all 11 people at RMB 55 a pop or $8 per person. Additonal 15% service charge on top. I will stay there again for the easy access of the location.
“Gem in Heart of Shanghai”
This was my second stay at JW Marriot Shanghai. Although my last stay was three years ago, the staff greeted me with "welcome back" upon check-in. The hotel facilities are still in top shape. Location is superb and the views were fantastic. We received a free upgrade to the executive floor which made our experience even more pleasant. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen in Asia. Only wish they have bigger closet space in the room. We had to put our suitcases on the window sill because none of our standard-sized suitcases would fit in the tiny closet. Other than that, the room was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy. Will definitely stay there again.
