OMG

The staff is very impolite and cannot speak English! One of the staff members even tried to trick us to pay 300rmb more even though we already paid with our card online. We wanted a room with a window but we didn't get that either and the room was filthy and had a terrible smell! We got filthy towels and cheats! We also found a pair of old dirty socks hanging in the shower cabinet! They also said wifi on the room but it only worked in the lobby. And you can also see each other going to the bathroom cause the "bathroom" is made of glas! The positive thing was that it was a good neighborhood and a good location! I would not recommend it to anyone.

very cheap hotel with a perfect location. the hotel itself is not perfect at all, needs a refurbishment, but for the price, it is very good.

Not as good as it's described

Location: Near Yuyuan garden, or near Xintiandi, or in the French Concession and Jing'an...
The location of this hotel is simply great, quite near to the subway (300m) and close to Xintiandi. BUT: my room was really dirty, the towels and the bedsheets were full of someone else's hair and spots, the haidryer technically provided was not working, the "air conditioning" was so weak that I had penguins in my room and there's written that there's a business centre but actually there's not. Moreover, at the reception I had to ask twice to check the booking and I had to wait until the next morning to get back the money they wanted at the check in but that I had already paid via credit card - it was not a deposit, simply they were charging me the fee again -. There's the possibility to get the room with the window that faces the inner courtyard - so you cannot actually open it; and of course there's hammering and drilling at seven o'clock in the morning (not really a problem, but it's just for advise). Three stars are definitely too much (I've been in two-stars hostels that were really better). Suggested only if you have your own sleeping bag...
