cool area in jingan

Loved the hotel. Not sure at first...it was hot and musty...drapes covered wall. Room did not cool when I when out there was a high window open behind a second drape. AC then was good. Bed was unbelievably soft and comfortable. A few stairs to figure out and room numbering system that was odd. Worst thing was could smell smoke even in shower which was tightly sealed. Small comfortable and very nice. Area outside is fun...couple of neighborhood local bars. Even porch with three seats though couldn't get internet out there.

Total dissapointment

We had a booking for two days in this hotel - we managed to stay for half an hour. When we got there it took us almost an hour to communicate with the receptionist as she didn't speak/understand any English. After a while the hotel manager came to us trying to find our booking. By the time they took us to our room we were already disappointed. We found a room/hotel that had nothing to do with the description on the website. The photos are totally misleading. We had booked for the elegant room - and what we found was a dark smelly room - with condoms by the sink - ideal for those who want to spend two hours tops in there. The decoration was maybe the half of what you see in the pictures - a poor copy I would say.. The only positive thing about the room was the speed of the internet connection. An hour later we asked for a cancellation and never looked back!
