Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros:

2weeks travel in Yunan where beds have sleep interrupting HARD mattress. What a joyous delight to rest and slumber peacefully on cloud nine softness. A JOY!

Pros: Justesa sitation
Location: Nanjing road Bund

Good location, very run down roomsPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Location is good, close to the bund.
Cons: Management, and this hotel needs a 100% renovation.
Location: Lots of restaurant, but you might want to go to the ones in the malls nearby. The hole in the wall ones are rude & disgusting. The bund is close by.
No way is this a 4 star hotel - broken room, cold staff. 1 star for the bellboy Jacky, who is the only friendly person there. Oh and most of the staff doesn’t speak English but the bellboy. The rooms are similar to motels in the states, maybe, not even that good. I requested nonsmoking room months ahead from Expedia. I got a smoking room on the 8th floor. I could smell smoke from hallway to the room. Since I already settle my luggage so I was going to stay in there. Then I found out the bathroom sink was not draining, the towels were yellowish, the room door was not able to be shut and lock correctly, dirty carpet, the surround of the tub has mold around. It was quite disgusting. I stayed the night then the next morning I called the front desk and requested to move to a nonsmoking floor. Without a word of apologize but all excuse saying this is how the room should be because the hotel has its aged…. Then we got moved to 13th floor, nonsmoking. The room was slightly bigger, the towels were cleaner, not much smoking smell. However, the bathroom door can’t be shut-broken lock! The sink still doesn’t drain well, dirty carpet, stain from the bathroom door was almost peeling off… Good thing is, this one, the wall around tub was caulked so I don’t see much of the dark brown mold. I have no idea why they keep the better rooms vacant but assign customer to the old and broken ones. The staff are pretty rude, the location is quite good, but I am not returning to this hotel.

Location so-so; Price reasonable, Bed very firmPosted May 14, 2015
Location: I'm sure the hotel is actually in the Bund area, but must be the outskirts. NOT walkable to the Bund area you probably want to see Room: A/C did not work and the beds are very firm. Our view of Pudong was awesome. Price: Not worth more than a Benjamin; in-room pricing is madness: a little for a movie; a lot for a non-complimentary water and small can of Pringles Staff: Nice. Attentive. Speak English well
