“the beach was great in summer”

i went to this hotel with my family,me my husband and my infant,we realy enjoy the beach eas great,and the have 3 pools,one for kids which my little baby loved it its only 500m deep..the bufee at the falls resturent was great,,but the hotel needs to be renewed i took bussines class room,no plazma t.v.,,some thing ealse you wont enjoy the t.v.channels specialy some are not clear,there's no enogh channels for kids,,only cartoon network,which is not sutiable for my baby..if u are planning to wach t.v. and relax,,

“Good value for money”

The hotel is the best value for money at UAE which I had seen. A good place to spend with your family, good service, food and beach. Sharjah is a "dry" state, so there is no alcohol available at the hotel. Travelling from Sharjah to Dubai may take up to 1.5 hours due to the traffic, so avoid travelling at rush hours if you can.

We were a little worried re "oil refinery" next door to hotel. It is in fact the port and this in no way affects the hotel. There was no smell of oil and the view from the beach was fine, with the occasional boat going into the port. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were extremely attentive, nothing too much trouble. The food was good and plenty of it. Generally a very good hotel with great facilities.

Hotel is very impressive and service fantastic. Need to take a taxi to travel out due to busy roads which are difficult to cross - but taxis no problem and staff in hotel have hire cars which double up as taxis to avoid you waiting! Pools are temperature controlled and very clean. Staff offer swimming lessons - which my 5 year old had every day and loved - cost about 12 pound for an hour and I would highly recommend this service. You can see an oil rig from hotel but this does not affect anything apart from view (in one direction only). I have been to other hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi but the service in the Radisson far exceeded any other I have stayed at. Go - you'll love it!

I found that other reviews were not accurate and the hotel was therefore much better than I expected. Buffet meals were realy good with lots of choice both for breakfast and evening meal. Staff were efficient and helpful. Hotel has a beach club with its own private beach and gardens with an adults only section for a more peaceful experience. The one aspect that may offend some clients is the close proximity of the harbour where large oil rigs are refurbed.

“Excellent hotel, superb service”

Excellent service, great selection of gorgeous food in all of its restaurants. Staff were tremendously helpful and very friendly - even blew up my son's inflatable for the pool (3 pools all excellent with a variety of depths). Hotel was very clean. There is a functional bowling alley in the hotel and 3 main restaurants with a couple of other cafes to eat in, one being 24 hours. Would definately go again. Best money I have ever spent. Don't be put off by the other comments about an oil rig - it's a working port for small vessels. The Hotel has a free busesto Dubai with two stops, one at the Deira City Centre Mall, and one in the centre. Other bus to Sahara Mall too. Hotel will pick you up from airport, its easy and cheap.

The staff were extremely friendly, i enjoyed every second of it! The pool staff in particular were a pleasure. I preffered to stay in the hotel rather than go out because it was so comfortable.

We have just got back from the hotel and felt compelled to write our good comments about this hotel.We were a bit worried at first(after reading some reviews) that the hotel was next to the port and that we were staying in a dry state for 2 weeks.This was no problem.Its a fantastic hotel and the staff were great.Our 2 children loved the facilties.You will love it...

Hotel very clean, rooms comfortable. Restaurants very good, the Imperial Garden was excellent.Spa is worth a visit, not too pricey either.

“A pleasant stay with very minor hiccups”

check-in we requested a rollaway bed which recpetionist noted. had dinner at the cafe near the waterfall; ordered from the menu because the buffet didn't look appetizing. the staff had trouble understanding english and it took at least 15 mins. for our drinks. our meal took a good 30 to 40 minutes after we ordered; good but not impressed. stopped at reception to inquire about the bed; she had no clue what we were talking about and wanted to change our room from a king to 2 twin size which would not work. she offered to bring in a twin size bed for way too much money per night. the rooms were modern looking, the bed was very hard. the beautiful private beach was not all that beautiful. the sand is rocky and the water was gross. the view is of a marine engineering facilty complete with oil rig/boat parts (this was our view from the room). the pools were very nice. we did not like that we had to give the towels back before we left the pool; we dripped our way back to our room. we were very pleased with the 6-lane bowling alley which our son thoroughly enjoyed. arranging a car was very easy through the concierge. dubai/sharjah is under a lot of road construction, give yourself ample time to get to the airport. a typical 10-15 min. trip took an hour. no alcohol at this hotel and smoking is limited to one area.
