Lovely hotel
Very much enjoyed the stay, the hotel was exactly what we was looking for and needed. We done breakfast only and found it to be very good value for money. Lots of staff who are always willing to help , the entertainment team were particularly friendly. Room was amazing with beautiful views and was cleaned every day. I was slightly worried due to some reviews mentioning noise, but in our experience this was fine. There was only 1 night when we could hear music from the bar nearby but it wasn’t enough to keep us awake. I do think this depends on where your room is though, as the hotel is very big and I can imagine it may be louder in other areas Location is also very good as it’s close to everything and right on the beach. All in all a great stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the area Thank you team

Not a peaceful sleep.
The hotel and public arears were very well kept and expansive, plenty of space for everyone plus spare. The rooms need a bit of TLC. First impression of rooms were a bit shabby. Bedding and towels well past their best. Walls marked and stained. There seemed to be a club party every other night with booming music until about 3am. Balcony doors didn't close properly so didn't seal out any noise. Wrong end of tiwn for a good nights sleep.

The entry into hotel was very open and inviting. Just a short walk to the pool area and a really nice beach area from the front door. This is where all the good ends. Service was completely crap. I called prior to booking to confirm that the additional all-inclusive option included alcohol. I was assured as an American, booking through a non Egyptian site, that it would be included. There was no additional alcohol option that could’ve been selected through the site. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that it would cost an additional $15 per person, per night would be required to include alcohol. Even after explaining what was told to me, they chose to not care and charge me anyway. The additional $15 didn’t even include “fresh juice”. It was only for the crappiest, no brand most disgusting and undrinkable whisky, tequila and vodka. We all had one drink and decided not to use our all inclusive passes again. When requested they wouldn’t refund. It was a way to rob the money out of us. Room wasn’t up to par. Build quality of bathroom was very subpar. Bathroom doors wouldn’t close or lock right etc. Food buffet’s provided were okay overall.

Check in took over 3 hours. A/C was not working and it took them another 2 hours to change rooms. I had to ask 7, SEVEN times for shampoo & shower gel. Buffet lunch items were terrible. Room extremely expensive for value. Worst hotel experience in my life.

Overall, okay. However, it's huge and you may have quite a walk to get to your room. The one real issue was that the only internet service is in the lobby - none in rooms - and it didn't work much of the time, and was extraordinarily slow when it did work. I had business to do while I was there, and had to spend HOURS in the lobby during the 4 nights I stayed, just waiting for e-mails and such to down/upload. This was very frustrating and ate up a lot of my time there. Also didn't like that all of the pools were shut down at sunset...

Mediocre for the money.
I'll say all the good and all the bad. Truly Crappy from the start. They kept telling us we don't have a booking with them even though i showed them the confirmation. They have no service for car parking. If you have a car steer off. They said they would upgrade us for the inconvenience and the manager scammed us out of a 400 pounds deal for what he called a favor. The sink was clogged when we got in. The bathroom door was not working. The fridge door was broke. The noise outside the room was insane all night even though we asked for quiet room. When food ran out some types were not topped off. The breakfast and dinner were suppose to be included. We had to pay for drinks at dinner. Beach service was great at least. Also room service came when we asked for repairs. Also the daily show was definite positive. Beach was heavenly and the life below the red sea was to die for. No thanks to the hotel. At breakfast and dinner the bus boys and waiters were great. Towel guys great. Nothing was stolen from the rooms. Bags we handled with care. That's all i could remember from yesterday. Its not a bad hotel but i feel you can do better in sharm for near a $100/ night. That was my honest 2 cents.

Regarding Marina Hotel: the WiFi not available in the room, its only in the lobby and some times not working also. Some staff in reception not helpful The price of activity not equal for each customer

Good place to stay

Bathroom too small (like on a submarine), dirty, smelly, mosquito infested. Towels, if they were replaced, were replaced with feces stains. Front desk staff horrible --deliberately provided false information. Staff unhelpful, could not speak English.

Great location, but not a four star Hotel
Hotel location is excellent, Close to every thing.it is across from the beach, not on the beach . Reception staff not well trained and not very professional. My reservation was sea view, they gave me garden view, bath room was very small difficult to move around and I am of average size, AC thermostat did not work, electric outlets did not work,one of them functioned after to repairman visits. Breakfast was good but no variation. Dinner was of poor quality and no taste. Best thing about this hotel is its location , you can actually swim next to amazing coral reef and colorful fish and you cannot beat the amazing weather and views of the mountains and the sparkling red sea. You will need swimming shoes as some ares on the beach has gravel.Internet was good but limited to the lobby. nightly entertainment was OK. Taking stroll at night in the close Mamsha, with its many stores and caffes was a lot of fun

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
There is no WiFi in the rooms, just lobby and it comes and goes so don't count on it working. When we first arrived, our rooms weren't ready, check in was at 3 and we didn't get in until 6 pm. I booked a room with a king bed which I learned it doesn't exist when I got there, they gave me a room with 2 queen beds. The food is absolutely disgusting so dont even bother with half or full board(You will get extremely sick). The service has to be the worst I've ever had anywhere in the world. It takes an average an hour to get a tuna sandwich if you order to your room or the lobby bar. The hotel keys continuously stop working so you have to keep going down to the lobby to get a new key. Service at the beach front is even worst than the hotel. Also, the water in the bathroom smells like sewage water, even the shower water. I kept finding dead bugs in the bed as well and when they clean the room, they dont replace the bed sheets or the pillow covers.

Standard Room condition was extremely poor, many loose or broken items incl doors & cupboards. Generally hotel is badly maintained with loose tiles everywhere. Wifi at hotel totally useless. Deluxe rooms seem better. Good location for food, shopping and entertainment . Good beach. Not a 4-star hotel

Animation staff are desperate
Animation lady pestered my husband to meet at the night club after she finished work. How cheap! when she knew I was his wife as we spoke previously. Other Staff are not very friendly or flexible If your not happy with your room they will not change it only if you pay for another new booking Coffee is not free with evening meal No water provided No adult entertainment only for children

Nice big hotel but wifi only in Lobby??
Only have wifi in the lobby area? Which for a major hotel is silly!! The breakfast food was horrible. The beach and view is nice and staff was good for the most part.

Just a nice room and location
I encountered a terrible check in where employees were unable to distribute the rooms untill after 3:00 pm. The restaurant staff are unable to cope with the crowds.

Good location but that's it...
We needed bolt cutters to open out bags before going out. Notified reception 4 times in an hour. Every time they just said 5 mins. Wanted to complain but the assistant didn't want to pass the phone to the manager and hung up on us. If location is important, go for it! If you want more then location, def look elsewhere! Very rude staff

Nice hotel, big rooms, nice viewing.
Food is below standard. Beach cannot swim. Very shallow and by the time you get to deep end to swim, there are boats everywhere. Otherwise, hotel, staff, room, views and location are brilliant. Food and beach let it down.

Garden Noise
For early birds dont book the garden normal rooms music starts from 9 pm till 11 and u cant sleep raised a complain and they changed my room that was great. The room service is slow coffe takes 30 mins.

Excellent Choice
I paid about $60 per nite for my 5 nite stay in this hotel. I was given a sea view room (excellent view) , located at the corner, which explains why it's larger than most of the rest. (Good deal for what I paid). But I noticed that most of the rooms are not too big. What really annoyed me was : they put on a tag round the wrist of every hotel guest, without asking for permission. That made me feeling very upset, as it made me feel like I was treated like a patient, as every patient in hospitals in Singapore are required to put on an identification tag round the wrist. When I checked in, the Reception was short of staff. --- only 1 staff, doing so much work in the early evening. He wasn't polite n helpful. He didn't answer my questions. But the housekeeper was very polite. The restaurant manager too. The manager took the effort to make every guest feeling warm n at home.

NICE HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION
WE STAYED FOR ONE NIGHT AND ASKED FOR LATE CHECKOUT WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THIS AS THE CALLED AS MANY TIMES TO CHECKOUT. THEY DON'T HAVE A CENTRALIZED SYSTEM TO MAINTAIN THE LATE CHECKOUT. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE, THE ROOM IS FINE WITH POOL VIEW. WE HAVE REQUESTED AIRPORT TRANSFER AND THE DRIVER DELAY 15 MINUTES, THE CAR WAS NOT GOOD AND DOOR WAS BROKEN.

A well maintained hotel, good location, a bit noisy though, biggest disappointment was the breakfast which was poorer than poor, exactly the same everyday, beach was good, pools were nice, animation team was very active, however mostly the hotel was dominated by Russians, so other nationalities feel left out.
