One who prefers not to be near all the shops but on the beach and near great views this hotel has the best location.
“Nice hotel at acceptable price”
good location about 3 min walking to the nama bay where most of activity in sharm is taking place the only issue about the location when check-in or out you have to walk all the way from the taxi area with your Luggage through the main street of nama bay ( almashaya ) which is uncomfortable but you can avoid that if you ask for airport pick-up and drop-off from the hotel. the room was good comfy bed with nice view on the sea ,no LCD TV just small old tv i. also there is only shower no bathtub .only concern about the room was the AC which was weak but they solve the problem . the breakfast was nice . many choices and selection other facilities like pool ,bar ,resturant and beach was OK but i can not judge cause i just passed by but i wished if there is a gym at this great hotel i recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good hotel at great price range and for sure i'll return back some day to sharm and the lido hotel in the future
“Not the Marriott but good for the money.”
The air conditioner is set up that it can only be turned on if you're in the room with the room key card. Which is terrible if its really hot out since you have to start the cooling down process all over again. The beach access was really nice though. Only spent a day and a half here but the Red Sea is really awesome blue water with pretty fish.
“BEST IN SHARM el-SHEIKH, Naama Bay”
Iberotel is one of the best hotels on Naama Bay, it's 2 seconds away from where all the action is on Naama Center. The hotel is beautiful and very low key they dont have corny musicand activities they let you do your own routine and are very helpful. I checked-in at 9am and they surprisingly had my room ready and let me check-in that early which was amazing.....they gave me very good recommendations. The rooms are beautiful and all facing the red sea, the breakfast was also very good...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
“No Sea View Room”
I was not at all happy with our stay here and would not recommend it to others because you just don't know what you will get there. We reserved a sea view room (and our printed out reservation confirmed this). We were given a room with no view at all (we could see a staircase and a bit of the pool). They told us they didn't have any sea view rooms left, so that was what we got and they couldn't do anything about it. We tried being overly polite and asked for some sort of compensation. They wouldn't give us a better room or any money back, but eventually offered us each one buffet dinner. All of the signs around the hotel advertised the buffet dinner as all you can eat and one drink (beer or soda). The food was horrible, but we figured at least we got a free drink - until they brought us a bill for the drinks! When we explained that we read this was included they told us that it was only included to those who payed for the dinner, not anyone who received a complimentary buffet dinner. They insisted we pay for the expensive drinks, so in the end they made even more money off of us. We never would've eaten at the horrible buffet if we didn't think it was our pittance compensation for screwing up our reservation. I was appalled at the service here. It was the only hotel on our entire Egypt trip that was a disappointment.
“best choice would without a doubt go back”
We stayed in Iberotel Lido for our honey moon and being perfectly honest we couldn't say a bad word about our stay. The staff were so helpful and patient and there was never a sense that you had to tip for the same. I was sceptical at first thinking this couldn't be for real but they were genuine. Location wise the hotel is at the end of the strip of hotels in Sharm so it was great you were only a few minutes walk from the centre with none of the noise. The hotel is quite big feels very spacious and yet has only 60 orso rooms. The food is excellent. We would definately recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Sharm
“excellent hotel, only sheets have to be changed every day”
we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the staff was friendly and the location was adorable. I only blame them for not changing the bed sheets every day. We stayed there 3 nights and the bed sheet was never changed.
