Happy and satisfied overall

We were with 10 months baby, so needed a little bit more as usual - easy access with a push-chair, baby food, baby chair and bed in our room. We have received everything and I can really say that this hotel is more than suitable for families with young children. As we went for kitesurfing holidays, location was also great for us - just a few steps away from our spot. Calm place further away from the main city and not crowd at all. However, if someone is looking for shopping, fun, restaurants and being in the city will be disappointed by the location. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Stuff was just great - even our small issues were solved within a day (thanks to manager Hanny - he is amazing!) and we had a very pleasant and nice stay!

The Jaz Mirabel Beach in Sharm
Posted Jan 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
My wife and I stayed at the Jaz during the end of March-early April. Here are some comments rergarding the hotel: food - excellent. Good quality and choice; although, after a week it got to be predictable as it would be for any hotel. What we really liked was that there is an adults only restaurant. Loved that! The Room - fairly comfortable. We thought that it could have been cleaned better using actual soap/bleach. Pool and grounds areas - nicely spread out so room for everyone. An hour or two of louder music and then it got quieter which was more pleasant. Beach - Sharm doesn't have the best beaches, but this was fairly nice with lots of chairs. Staff - the waiters in the adults' restaurant were friendly and worked hard. However, those in the pool and especially beach bar were arrogant. Overall, the Jaz is a nice place to spend a week.

Fantastic hotel!!! Best we have stayed in. Eveything fanfastic. If I was to give one piece of advise......tip the waiters as you go......in the Oriental bar we found the service went downhill after one evening when we didnt tip as we had no smaller notes. Other than that......brilliant

One of the best around

Had a great 10 day stay at this hotel. The usual problems such as dodgey stomach ( take lots of immodium! ) but the hotel probably wasnt to blame. Food was of a high standard, not spectacular but good quality and varied with a good choice. Grounds were very nice , shrubs are slightly new so not very big but well looked after. On tours we got to visit other hotels as people were being dropped off , ours was by far the nicest from what we saw. The hotel is some distance from Namaa Bay, we got a taxi for 60 Egyptian pounds(6 GBP ) , you do have to haggle!. For 12GBP Waheed , the very friendly and safe limo guy will drive you in a new E class Mercedes, book him at reception or by the entrance. Id reccomend this hotel, we had a great time.

It is certainly the best hotel we have stayed in. It is classed as 5 stars and it is certainly 5 stars, no question about it. I have stayed in several 5 stars hotel around the world.Hotel Jaz Marabel can be said is the top of 5 stars class. The location, the landscape, the rooms, the food and above all the people who provide the service were exellent.

Wonderful hotel, extremely friendly and courteous staff. Couldnt have asked for more on our short break! The food may not have been cordon-bleu, but it was well prepared, well presented and plentiful! The pool areas were spotless and well maintained, plenty of sunbeds to go round. The bellboy service to take our luggage on arrival at the frontdoors to our room and back again when we left was a very nice touch.

Very Impressive

The hotel was amazing with great service and great food. The only downside for us was that you couldn't snorkel straight off the beach and as we were only there a few days we did not have time to book a day boat trip. Highly recommended for a relaxing sun break though!

Nice, but expensive hotel

Nice, but expensive hotel. Also, the food is not perfect, but not bad. Egyptian alcohol is a disaster - don't even try. The Hotel is too far from city center - near 30 kilometers
