Fantastic Hotel with fantastic locationPosted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: Very clean. Rooms were very spacious and the decor was nice. Very good breakfast buffet. Staff were VERY helpfull.
Cons: Pool was cold. Toilet seat not comfortable
Location: Very good location 10 mins away from the airport and 5 minutes away from Naama Bay centre.
Fantastic hotel. Perfect location. 10 minutes from airport. 5 minutes from Naama Bay centre. Very clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff were awesome! We asked for a converter plug and we got it in 5 minutes. In the past I've waited for hours at 5 star hotels. Asked for a kettle as one was not provided got one in minutes. Asked for an iron and the same. The staff just never said no. Stayed in the beachside resort with a pool view room I would highly recommend this as the view at night is awesome. The pool was cold and the toilet seat was not comfortable if I'm to be really critical. Other than that I can't fault the hotel. Very nice breakfast, nice drinks area (piano bar). Nice lobby. Checkout time is 12pm. We checked out at 4pm and we had 4 rooms as it was a family holiday. They said they would only charge us for 1 room and not 4 but they even let us off with that after a bit of grovelling :-) I would highly recommend this hotel for people of all ages.

Bad first impression but made up for itPosted Mar 10, 2013
Pros: The pool and breakfast
Cons: The original room facilities and service
This hotel grew on us throughout our stay. It took 1.5 nearly 2 hours to check in with no communicatuon or info as to what was going on or why . The first room was not even ready after that time and whilst rated 5 stars and supposedly had a pool view it had a small analog tv, a shower cutain half bath shower and possibly a .5m view of the pool. We complained and got upgraded to the beach side which was nicer and more efficient. The staff on that side were friendly, quick and efficienct and we thourougly enjoyed our stay. We actually had a stunning pool view on this side and facilities closer to 5 star. Still had a shower curtain but at least a full size bath and proper facilities overall. Upon checking out and the rest of our stay they were very attentive and helpful which made up for the wrong footed beggining. The bed was still uncomfortable and I personally hate shower curtains which left a negative side to the stay but the room and breakfast staff and pool made up for it, as did the location.

Fantastic hotel, well located and very friendly staff! Only thing I can think of that was bad is the internet connections.

Mountain View with heated poolPosted Jan 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was unclear to me when I booked that the Mountain View and Beach View hotels were actually completely different buildings divided by a street. The initial disappointment that we had not booked at the Beach View instead was quickly dispelled by having the heated pool (for this winter vacation) in Mountain View. The staff were excellent and attentive. My only problem with this hotel, and most of Egypt for that matter, was that it would be impossible for a disabled person to manage. The hotel did not have an elevator, but high stair cases everywhere (same from what I could observe in the Beach View facility). Good exercise, but limiting to those unable to move easily. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

Great for a relaxing getaway, especially in winterPosted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: Good food, friendly staff, very clean, great location
Cons: Dinner service a bit slow, rooms would benefit from tea and coffee making facilities
Location: Fantastic location, just far enough away from town to be quiet but only 10 mins to find the hustle and bustle
Great location, modern, very clean, food really good quality. Perfect for a relaxing break. Good distance from Naama Bay, close enough to walk to but not so close to be noisy. Private beach for hotel really nice. Staff friendly and welcoming.
