Nice Hotel but not as expected

Posted Mar 8, 2015
A very nice hotel to stay in the busy Soho Square BUT the food was really bad , the breakfast was so ordinary and the bakery was horrible! I had BB basis but i thought one night to have dinner in the Hotel and i found out the dinner is crazy low quality and there was no variety at all! The hotel is expensive compared to other hotels in the proximity and for no reason.

Very clean and good facilities

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, helpful staff
Cons: Transport to local areas
Location: Boating, snorkling, beach, bars, restaurants, entertainment every evening
Well located hotel within easy accesses - could do with frequent free travel to Namma Bay and other tourist attractions. Food was well catered for and fresh.

Relaxing Beach Hotel

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: House Keeping & Room Service.
Cons: Renovate the Bathrooms. Keep the hotel clean, better service at the beach
Location: Excellent location, Beach, Snorkeling, Dining, Bars, Entertainment, Shopping, Shows. Just few steps away
Close to all what you need for your vacation, excellent for families with kids, lots of quality food outlets(Not the sandwich shop on the beach). Best snorkeling area.

Great hotel - outstanding staff

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Location: Location was good, right on the beach and next to the lively, if slightly artificial, charms of SOHO Square.
Stayed for a week at the Savoy Sharm in a Garden View Suite. The Hotel was first class. The room was excellent, the hotel facilities and in particular the staff were of the highest standard. Our only criticism was that some of the food and drink in the hotel's many restaurant was a little expensive and was less consistently excellent than other elements of the hotel. Exceptions to this were the burgers, which were very good and the food at the Seafood restaurant by the beach, which was suburb. I could not recommend this place high enough for those wanting a high quality, relaxing beach hotel.

Lots of potential, unfortunately just average...

Posted Oct 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nothing special. The hotel looks impressive, plenty of facilities especially for children. Right across the Soho Square, but other than this, nothing else around so not much to do. On the surface, it looks like a 5 star hotel, unfortunately the rooms and especially the bathrooms are well outdated. Depending of your room, it may be very noisy because of the cleaners who are dragging their carts all day, also staff shouting at each other, etc. Food not particularly nice but ok (buffet style), however if you have S-class all inclusive, you'll be able to use the other onsite restaurants and you'll have a better experience. The place looks nice and for those who want to want to spend all day in the sun eating and drinking, is fine, as well for those with small children is OK but will not appeal to a more experienced traveller. Staff attitude sucks sometimes, all of them are after tips, some of them treat you nice to receive a tip...some others take your money and forget to deliver the services. Overall, maybe 3 stars...too bad...it has more potential...but the staff needs to change their attitude.
