bad experience

Cons: management needs to enforce ending times in event rentals. Also needs to train staff and watch staffing levels and productivity.
Three story building with a three story atrium in the center. Our room had a small balcony looking out into the atrium on the third floor. When we checked in I asked what was going on since there was a lot of commotion in the lobby. Was informed that there was an event in the atrium but that it would be over at 8. Seemed odd since it was around six and it looked like they were still setting up. Went to dinner and came back, was amazed at how the sound carried. It was an annual meeting and election complete with a very loud microphone and applause every few minutes. Called front desk at 9:30 to see how much longer. Was told they had a late start and would be done by 10. Event ended at 10:45 and we thought we could get some sleep. Wrong. This just gave those that had been drinking the opportunity to yell and have a good time. After that it was the staff cleaning up and piling dishes. I know this sounds like its not that bad but with all of the hardscape everything echoed. Was given $50 off for each of our rooms in the morning. Though that was better than nothing and went to the breakfast buffet. Picked up our plates and went to sit. All of the tables were dirty and we were told it would be 5 minutes to sit down. Asked for hot water for tea 3 times before it was finally brought. On top of this we paid $9.95 for this and it was the same thing we ate for free at other Holiday inns on this trip. It boils done to poor management.

Pros: Recently upgraded room was nicely decorated the bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. Staff friendly, good parking. Good location easy to find.
Location: Only stayed one night but the Courthouse Pub downtown great restaurant, good food and fun references to legal subjects.
Easy drive from Appleton to meet friends for the night. The hotel was easy to find, I was impressed with the size of the hotel the staff was super and the hotel recently upgraded and it was redecorated very tastefully, the rooms were comfortable.

Clean & comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn - Manitowoc. Our room was fantastic - clean, comfortable and spacious (and there were plenty of outlets...so many hotels are lacking in this area). We took advantage of the pool, hot tub and game room - and our niece had a ball. The staff was very friendly and the HI will likely remain our go-to hotel when visiting family in the area.

Coming back soon

Everything was very good. Nice little gym in the basement. I did not get a chance to eat in the restaurant. But the desk attendants were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I will stay here again soon.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, close to interstate and lots of shopping and restaurants. Only 5 minute drive from several bars downtown.
Cons: No free coffee in lobby.
Great experience. Very comfortable. Soft bed and pillows. Great TV. View wasn't the greatest but it was dark. Appears to be ideal set-up for conferences although we were just there for an overnight stay.

It was close to the Packer Game on short notice.

The room was ready one hour before check in and that kept us on schedule for our Packer tailgate party in Green Bay against the lowly Chicago Bears...Go Pack. Perfect distance from the stadium if you can't get a room in Green Bay and less expensive. Nice rooms with clean bedding and they label the pillows firm and soft so there is no guessing. stay here it's worth it!

Me and some friends came for the Bears packers game and although the hotel wasn't as close to the field as we would have liked we still had an excellent stay!
