“Good, clean, and friendly”

Good value, clean rooms and very friendly staff. If you are looking at a basic hotel, clean, quite, with breakfast included this is a good value.

“very Nice Motel”

The super * in Manitowoc was clean and very convenient. The breakfast was larger than expected and very good. Would highly recommend the motel

Area recommendations

Visit the West of the City Botanical Garden on Lake Michigan. It is right across from the old mall on highway 42. It is a wonderful garden.

“Reasonable for the price”

There are not really a lot of options in the area. I didn't want to spend a great deal and just needed a functional room. It was small and a little worn, but did the job I needed it to. My only complaint was that there was still trash in the bathroom when I got there. Other than that, it was a perfectly functional room. I did enjoy the bed which was nice and firm. Free internet was a bonus too.

“Great room for the price”

The room was clean, and comfortable, even if a wee bit small. Excellent value for the price! The breakfast was pretty great in the morning. Not phenomenal, but for the price of the room, we had a decent selection. (Waffles, donuts, 3 cereals, oatmeal, bagels, toast and fruit.) we would definitely stay here again!

“Nice hotel, good value”

The Super 8 in Manitowoc was a nice hotel; a good value for the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, location convenient. Many restaurants close by; however, I wouldn't recommend the Four Seasons next door, the food was subpar (but cheap). My only complaint about the hotel was that my WiFi signal in my room was very weak; I noticed a few people were in the lobby with their laptops, they must have been getting a better signal there.

“Great deal! Great hotel!! Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay.”

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the all the furnishings were in working order. I enjoyed the morning breakfast that was provided--there was quite a variety which was nice. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a great value for your money.

“Exceptional”

We had an exceptional stay of only one night, but would have stayed longer if we needed to. Very clean, little extra touches in breakfast area made it feel homey and welcoming. The staff were very pleasant, polite and professional.
