Lobby was really in need of updating. Computer in business center was not working and had not been for some time. The desk clerk indicated that the hotel computers did not work properly either. Continental breakfast was just OK. Did not receive requested wake up call. Overall was ok for one night stay and got what I expected for a $60 room.

There were cracks in the wall & torn up lampshades. The first room they gave us had a squeaky wall heater so we asked to change rooms. The second room had a cigarette butt on the AC/heating unit & it was supposedly a non-smoking room.

Pros: The staff member that checked me in was very pleasant.
Cons: The hotel appears rather old and would benefit from an upgrade ASAP!
The bathroom had rust around the light fixture and the ceiling was soiled.

We had stayed there when it was Holiday Inn. Has gone downhill since changing hands. Will not stay there again. They put us in a room on the back which did not have fridge or microwave. Changed us to a much smaller handicapped room. Heater was so loud every time it kicked on I had to adjust tv volume. Heater fan quit working on low about 3am, Staff was totally unconcerned. TV was old, old, old. Breakfast was lackluster.

Pros: Bar and Lounge was nice. At least they had a flat screen TV for the NFL games.
Cons: This was a 1950's hotel that needed serious updating to keep up a better standard
Location: Location was good. Had an Outback restaurant nearby.
Temps were very cold outside. Upon entering the room, the temp couldn't have been more than 58 degrees. Turned heat to max and in 2 hours still wasn't tolerable to be comfortable. Staff changed rooms and it wasn't much better. Finally after 1 1/2 hr we were at least able to take a shower. Left the heat on max until about 7 am the next morning. You would think if it were working properly, we couldn't have withstood the heat! In other words, it wasn't working.
