My Super * Stay In Shelby NCPosted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Keep me out of the rain.
Location: Growing town, location great!
Owner not willing to work with you. No wi-fi, or ethernet in rooms as promised. Room cleaners will take your stuff and it will not be returned to you. If non smoker, you can smell it from adjacent rooms. I checked into a room that had shaving hair and debris left in the bathroom sink.

InexpensivePosted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: computer access
Cons: room furniture was pathetic, dresser drawers would not work properly
Location: I wanted a jumping off point on route 74
I wanted an inexpensive place to stay while land/property search.

Pros: The location
Cons: It could be cleaner and it needs a lot of updating and repair.
Location: The location is near a lot of restaurants.
The room was not very clean and we woke up the next morning to a roach in our room.

Everything was good but the toilet could have been cleaner. It wasnt terrible but it did need to be cleaned better.

Very convenient locationPosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was perfect. It was less than 2 miles from the fair grounds where we were set up. It was also very convenient to a lot of restaurants and other shopping. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were updated. It could have been a little bit cleaner but it was not in bad condition. I would definitely stay there again.

Won't stay againPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: The staff was willing to refund our 2 prepaid nights when we decided to leave early.
Cons: Maintenance and additional security measures.
We had a variety of experiences in this hotel. The facilities are run down. Carpet was extremely dirty. We had strangers knocking on our door in the middle of the night. We cut our stay short and moved to another hotel.

HORRIBLEPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
This should be a half star hotel if any. All rooms smell of smoke. Ladies for hire show up knocking on doors around midnight. Everything falling apart. Everything temporarily fixed with 2x4's. If you have an iron, you can't use it because it is covered with melted who-knows-what. Wouldn't even attempt to eat the free breakfast after seeing all this. All hotels were full otherwise I would have left before I checked in.

Hotel room smelled bad. Toilet didn't work, also had cigarette butts in it . Fly flew out from under the sheets on the bed.

just okPosted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
You can tell they are definitely cleanly. And the front desk people were all very friendly, but the room was just outdated and felt uncomfortable. The ac looked like it was from the 80s and the carpet was covered in old stains. They are doing ehat they can with what they have, but its time for some serious updates. I will NOT be staying at this location again.

Dirty! You don't even want to touch the mini fridge at breakfast, the handle is cruddy as are most things. I asked for upstairs room in writing well in advance, they didn't read or try to accommodate even though the motel was 50%+/- empty. The "pillow" looked, felt, and smelled like someone just used dirty laundry and wadded it up and stuffed it in a pillow case. Don't go there until they clean.
