As close as we could get to JMU graduation

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: The rooms seemed to have been recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast room seems a bit dingy and stuffy - finding a better/nicer room for the breakfast would be my only improvement.
For the price, this hotel was nice. The only very disappointing thing was that I had not realized that I clicked on a "smoking" room instead of a "non-smoking" and they did not have any other rooms to accommodate us - so the overall experience was not a good one for us - but that was not the hotels fault.

A one-night stop in comfortable hotel

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Bathroom very clean, ample hot water, comfortable bed and Clean Carpet. Close to restaurants.
Location: Visit Charlottesville, the pedestrian street and have a nice meal there!
A nice welcome at the reception desk. We like the cleaniness of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the windows which were very clean - which is rarely the case in most hotel. We enjoyed visiting Charlottesville (25km from Waynesboro). Quite throughout the hotel, and lots of parking space.

Pet friendly

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Pet friendly is hard to find. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of pillows.
Cons: The tub did have hairs in it. I prefer to take tub baths.
Location: Was my first trip to Waynesboro, Virginia. It has many interests and lots of the larger stores. The mountains are beautiful.
The Staff was nice and friendly. The rooms had comfortable and clean beds.

This motel was recently renovated but managed to retain its older property feel.

Pros: location near the parks
Cons: breakfast, room facilities and maitainance
Location: skyline drive, blue ridge mountains
We stayed for two nights in a 2-bed room. The room was OK, but the A/C was noisy and didn't work properly, and the shower was difficult to operate. The breakfast was a bit basic. On the second night the toilet overflowed, and we had to move to a different room. The manager compensated us for this incident, but it would have been better if the hotel was better maintained.

Nice hotel in good location

plenty of food choices within walking distance distance. Grest hotel for travelers with dogs. Lots of grass. Nice outdoor area with picnic tables, benches & grill. Large room. Only 1 exit down from Skyline & Parkway.

Great Deal.

Posted Feb 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
For the price you can't complain about this place. Even without the cheap price I still I can't complain really. Everything was great. The only thing I noticed was some wallpaper peeling in the bathroom which is no big deal. I'd stay here again without question.
