“Will not book a Ho Jo's in the near future without knowing the hotel”
My wife and I stayed at this Ho Jo's in Warrenton Va. The hallways were dimly lite. The room was clean, but the room door did not seal properly flushly against the door jamb. The bathroom was clean, but the maintenance left much to be desired. Apparently the toilet had started leaking and the fix was to smear white caulking around the entire base of the unit. Not the correct way to fix the problem. When the shower curtain was replaced the old curtain hooks were left on the rod and just pushed to the side. The soap dish was re-attached in the shower in a very poor manner with adhesive way beyond the diameter of the dish. My wife and I commented that there may be some employees actually living there, as one of the units in the bottom floor had a small table with an umbrella and a Bar-B-Que grill outside the unit. On the day we left, we saw a maintenance worker bringing what appeared to be personal clothing (jeans and shirts and stuff, into the laundry room to be washed). Finally, when we turned in our room keys, there was a small continential breakfast setup. The sink sink on the counter was grossly dirty and the garbage can needed to be replaced, probably 6 months ago. Overall, my wife and felt more guarded than relaxed.
