Do not recommend this hotel!

Pros: Clean towels
Cons: Clean everything. Even though we did see maid service, it needs a major carpet cleaning and parking lot overhaul. The building is old, needs repairs.
Location: Good diner, (recommended by woman desk clerk).
!. Rotten smell in the room, not pleasant, like rotten garbage and musky. They gave us room spray to try to make it acceptable. Didn't work. 2. Internet did not work 3.Bathroom was dirty. 4. Carpet was filthy. 5. Parking lot was dirty, full of garbage and trash. 6. Furniture was dusty. 7.Smoke alarm kept going off all night. Called front desk, said to take out batteries, which we could not do.

Hotel staff was rude, hotel was gross, wallpaper falling off walls,FLEAS jumping off of you, rusty door lock, smelt like garlic, horrible horrible

Pros: It was clean.
Was unknowingly assigned to room 206 but was given keys to 204. Around 1 AM was awakened first by couple assigned to 204 trying to get in then by front desk phone calling to inquire who I was and why I was in that room.

This was by far the worst experience my family and myself has ever experienced..The rooms were filthy..the bed had absolutely no support..The vending machines were empty..The whole experience was miserable..I give this hotel a -10...will never stay at another Howard Johnson Hotel again..This place should be condemmed

A call was put thru to my room that ended with my credit card being fraudulently used. That just ruined the whole mini vacation for me.

I just needed a bed to sleep. The main problem was that the carpeting in the building, not just my hotel room, needed to be cleaned BADLY. Either that or just replaced

No, not comfy- old mattresses with springs popping through. Old linens -and the top blanket was yucky smelling. ...towels were way too thin and not enough of them. Door to hotel room NOT easy - took three tries every time, even just out for ice.

The noise from bathroom fan VERY LOUD and no way to turn it off if you want a lighted bathroom. Noise from the fan in the heating element was very disturbing. The television reception was very poor.

Cons: Tear it down, try again.
Location: Thank God there were other hotels with vacancies near by.
This was the worse hotel stay I've ever had outside a third world country. The room was disgustingly dirty and moldy. The decor was a throw back to the 60's, including the TV...which had terrible reception. The room was freezing. I had the heater on as high as it would go, but no heat. It was so bad that I left after 5 hours and found a different hotel. If you're a glutton for punishment, you'll love this place.

Nice hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Very nice people. Had everything I needed.
