We've strayed here several times and it has always been clean. It is older but meets our needs as a basic place to stay for a few days and the price is right

Shenandoah vacation.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Close to restaurants, downtown, convenient to entrance to Skyline Drive.
Hotel has seen better days. Good location. Close to Skyline Drive.

Convenient location...ok for a night

This hotel has definitely seen better days however, the location was extremely convenient since we wanted to be within walking distance from restaurants and bars. Pool stayed open pretty late which was nice..

Don't expect much. old cigarett smell in room.

Was asked to register a credit card for incidentals. It was explained to me that in the case there were to be damage to the room or something stollen the accout would be charged. By the time we got up to the room a $7.20 charge was billed to the card. The next morning I asked about the charge I was told that these charges to my account was a test to see if the card works and that if there were no issues at check out the money would be refunded in 3 to 5 business days. No one said anything about charging the account in advance.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay. The only way that we can check the validity of a card is to ask for an authorization. If you gave us a credit card, the authorization checks to see if the card has enough credit available to cover the amount of the authorization. If you gave us a debit card, the authorization checks to see if there is enough actual money in the account to cover a charge in that amount. The holding bank then transfers the amount out of the account and into a holding account pending an actual charge from us. At checkout, the authorization is dropped. No actual charge was assessed against your card.

Basic but ok

Pros: It was very close to the natural park.
Cons: Rooms could be a little more cheerful.
Location: In five minutes by car you reach the north entrance of the Shenandoah National Park, with a short walk you are in the Main Street of Front Royal.
The place is not particularly nice, but beds are comfortable and staff is very kind.

we always enjoy our stay here. Breakfast is decent, comfortable beds and friendly staff. This is the first time we tried the Thai restaurant downstairs for dinner and it was great

The hotel was very outdated. The biggest problem was when I went to print my hotel.com receipt they wanted to charge me 25 cents per page. Crazy!
