結局いつもホテルはここ

Posted Oct 24, 2012

Shenzhen

The Lushan Hotel room was big, spacious, and clean. Located in central area for shops, malls and business. Never tried the restaurant because local cuisine was awesome. Did not spend much time in the hotel. However, there were some issues; first, the room has a centralized power distribution panel that controls all outlets, lights and TV’s that is initially powered up by inserting electronic room key. No one ever explained use of this panel. Every time you leave the room and remove your key, you must reset all the switches on the power panel when you return in order to power-up all outlets, lights and TV’s. I suggest that you ask for two keys and leave one key inserted in the power port if you plan on using the room often. Second, the internet is wired and there where websites that I could not access. If you have a Hotmail account setup another email in yahoo…yahoo mail was available and Hotmail touch and go…wireless was only available in the lobby… Third, have the ability to speak Chinese or have a very good translating device…only came across one hotel person (door man) that could speak very broken English. Fourth, NO HEAT…obviously, I was in the hotel in January and a few days were a bit cold…room was at about 55 degrees f. Carpets had some stains and the rooms are very plain, but not a bad place to stay. Cleaner than most US hotels that I stay at and at a fair price

LUSHAN IS LOCATED ON THE BORDER OF CHINA & HONGKONG. LOCATION IS WELL CONNECTED BY TRAIN & ROADS. GOOD & CHEAPER FOOD, FAST INTERNET, CONNECTIVITY WITH THE STAFF, SPA ADDS THE CHARECTERISTICS OF THE HOTEL. RECOMMENDABLE TO FRIENDS AS WELL AS FAMILIES. ONLY ISSUE IS SCARCITY OF ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF.
