Better the first time!

This was my second time at the hotel as I enjoyed my first stay. We were given a room in which the bathroom was "flooded" after a shower. Upon our complaint, a service personnel came and laid some towels on the floor and said that this was quite normal with showering in a bath tub. But, I told her that this did not happen during my previous stay and requested for a change of room. Reluctantly, they changed our room past midnight upon my insistence. At check-out, they wanted to charge me for a phone call made at 11:30pm when I moved into the room after midnight. Thus, please watch out for such items!

Overpriced for aging average hotel

Requested a non-smoking room and was placed in a smoking room. The staff was helpful, but facilitated a fleecing of some of my colleagues for a transfer to HKG airport. After being quoted 900RMB for trip, they did a bait and switch and increased the price to 1200RMB at the time of departure, which my staff was forced to pay. The building is old and dated, everything is overpriced as if it was a five star in a three star building. 5min walk to subway. Overall there are better choices around.

Its walking distance to the train N major bus station to outer area of china.Clean street N lots of places to shop N eat.great place to rest.

BAD service

I have paid for 2 rooms with additional bed in each room for 6 persons, 3 persons each room clearly stately on the booking but when i arrived, they told me the hotels.com agent only booked 2 rooms for a total of 3 persons to stay and if i wanted to add bed i have to pay an extra of RMB180 for each bed. They wanted me to contact the agent to sort things out with the website agent when it was already 10pm at night because they have nothing to do with them. They said my booking email is not valid because it was not issued by the hotel but the hotels.com agent. We argued for about an hour then only the hotel manager decided to deal with the booking agent regarding this matter the next day. We had additional bed in each room and didnt pay extra at the end but I would not recommend to book with this hotel despite the comfort and location because there are plenty of good hotels around and you won't want to waste an hour over checking in for stupid reason. If you would really want to book in this hotel, I would recommend you to call them and double check if they have the correct booking. I think they have problem understanding the room booking over the internet. If they do not recognise online booking email, how can I trust that the rooms are booked for me despite early payment?
