Good for stayPosted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is good like any regular 3-4 star hotel would be . Gym pool all is there as well . The rooms don't have a microwave so be aware hotels.com has given in false info . To use the microwave we need to go to the second floor . The mini bar is free has juice coke and beer . The tv has only 2 English channels and no paid channels . The hdmi connection etc don't work properly. No iPod station in the rooms

not what we had hoped forPosted Aug 20, 2012
This hotel looked tired and certainly not what I could consider a four star hotel. It felt old and dirty although it was clean. The room was what I think of as a US budget hotel type room. Nothing special and adequate for a one night stay. Certainly not what I would think of as a four star hotel room. By far this room was a disappointment compared to the four other hotels we stayed in while in China. The staff was not very helpful and wrong about information they gave us. We had asked if breakfast was included on our reservation and was told no only to find later that breakfast was indeed included. We missed out and were not happy about it.

OK for businses tripPosted May 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
Fine for business trip, few staff speak English, Gym does not have much kit and you have to phone up to get it unlocked if you want to use it

The Hotel as claimed is not close to any business district, the closest subway is a 15 mnts walk unlike what has been claimed on the website. Check out was pathetically slow, and hardly any options for transport to places like HK are arranged from the Hotel

Things to know...Posted Nov 21, 2011 on Hotels.com
1. Hong Kong is NOT considered a part of China, so even though no Visa is required to enter Hong Kong, a Visa IS required to enter Shenzhen where the Watergate Novotel is located. 2. Even though the Hotels.com listing specified that a shuttle is available from the airport, it has limited hours and you must schedule it in advance...there may even be a separate charge for it. 3. A bench tucked under the escalator on the 2nd floor restaurant area makes a decent bed, and as an added bonus, you will learn to say "please watch your step" in Chinese.

Great hotel in ShenzhenPosted Aug 9, 2010
Arrived to friendly service, good facilities (basic, but very clean and precisly what is required for business travel). Nice room and bathroom, all shampoos and shower gels supplied - very nice. Great value and well worth a revisit.
