Good location if you wanted to go shopping. If not the metro is about a 5 minute walk. There is a restaurant across the street that closes quite late for those who like eating later in the night. What I didn't like about the hotel was that the hallway on our floor had an unpleasant smell, the windows in the room are tinted green, and the shower sometimes goes colder for a few seconds but for the price I can't complain too much.

Staff was excellent and helpful with answering all of our questions. This hotel is close to a train station and is 1 station away from Luohu shopping center. Unfortunately during our stay this train station was closed for maintenance. Cost for taxi to Luohu train station was around 10-20 RMB. Many restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance.

Peter loved the Kai Li Hotel!
The hotel room was amazing. We had a king bed in a large and quite room. The hotel is right next to Guomao metro station which is connected to a large mall. There are abundant food choices everywhere around this hotel. The room, the hotel and the location exceeded my expectations!

Upon check in, the receptionist asked me to pay RMB 1200 in CASH or via credit card. I told them I did not have so much cash in hand and i offered to pay via ALIPAY or WECHAT Pay but they insisted otherwise. Took me to flare up at their main hall before they were even willing to give me the breakdown of room charges and deposit. It amounted only to RMB 1072 instead of 1200!!!! And actually, only the deposit of 300 needed to be paid in cash, the rest could of course be settled with either Wechat or Alipay which is what I have been paying with in every other hotel I stayed in in CHina.

Staff need to upgraded their self in communicate language as most of the staff cannot speak English. Hotel also must provide food for Muslim customer. Other than that, room clean, tidy, nice, near with MTR and Mall. Strategic location and value for money.

Near metro; rude staff, no buffet breakfast
The overall condition is okay, but the staff are too rude. Also, they do not provide buffet breakfast, only a set meal is provided. The hotel is located quite near to a metro station (about 4-min walk to Guomao station). Wifi is okay, but do note that you cannot use Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. (which are blocked in China). You can either use a VPN or get a SIM card which allows access to these websites.

Always stay in this hotel when I get back SZ. It’s location is perfect to all commute and eat. Spa and massage center is downstairs. Pretty big and clean. And room rate is very affordable

Convenient and easy
Having Spa attachments is a great bonus. Subway is close, breakfast is ok, not a huge range but tasty and fast. Staff are helpful, service is good, things are close by, I would stay here again.

The air condition should be changed to "individually control" and one of the front desk staff service attitude can help the hotel if more approachable on eve little matter such as providing small change for guest. Also lots of web sites cannot be reached.

Good location.
Very good , well run hotel. All staff friendly and helpful. Good location. Shopping mall next door leads to the subway. Small 711s just over the road and easy availability of taxis just on the road outside. Just 2 stops to Lo Wu to cross into Hong Kong.

Great location
Fantastic location, close to metro station and right opposite a big mall (lots of good food and shops). The room was clean and quiet. However, we booked a room with breakfast not knowing that breakfast is served from 7:30 and we had to leave before that so we didn’t manage to use the breakfast ticket.

Absolutely fine. Staff were pleasant, room was clean and fair, condition of the hotel is not bad. The surrounding area is the "old" part of Shenzhen but you're close to cafes, bars, clubs, shopping malls and the HK border.

Only book this hotel if you DO NOT NEED WIFI!!!
Nice hotel but the lousy unstable wifi spoils the whole experience. This is my usual hotel whenever I travel to Shenzhen but with the recent lousy wifi experience, I will skip this hotel in the future. Recommended for those who do not need wifi connection at all else avoid this hotel at all costs.

Nice hotel close to tourists area.
Once you walk approaching the hotel, you'll meet with what you can think about for spending a couple of nights in this city. Restaurants providing all global cuisines, fashion boutiques for all leading foreign brands, even an eye-catching pub is just steps around. So where else to stay!

Room odors
There was a musty smell when coming back to room. I aired out room for first couple of nights. Then requested another room. The night staff somehow framed it that I was at fault for not saying something before. I changed rooms the next day. I noticed I had a cough and attribute it to to the room. The rooms are old and you can see cracked caulking where there has been no maintenance.
