Beautiful ocean view

It is wonderfully situated by the ocean. The sound of the waves is relaxing. The various pools and play areas make it a great place for families.

Bad Ability to Make Immediate Response

This time, they don't turn the light on till the day get dark, because the time is not right?! But the day is really dark, people are scary to walking in the corridor.

Not for Western Travelers

I wanted to enjoy the beach on a recent business trip. I wanted a Western hotel and have stayed at many Sheratons and been greatly satisfied. The Hotel was beautiful and right on the beach with lots of amenities. I wanted to go fishing and went to the concierge to arrange a trip and terrible english, so he got a manager to come over to translate; he said no fishing on a boat was available. I was surprised because this was a fishing village right on the sea. I got online and found one myself, so yes they are available and he would have just got on the phone and made a couple calls he could have saved me a lot of trouble. The breakfast area was also nice with a big wall of windows and a great view; if you smoked... non-smoking seating was inside with no view. I wanted some piece and quiet so I turned on the don't disturb light at the door. The maid service slipped a "sorry we didn't clean your room because of the don't disturb light" note under the door. Then kept knocking on the door and finally she just came right in saying she needed to clean the room. I called the front desk livid, they apologized. But it ruined my day at that point. There are no real activities around but the hotel has lots to do. Overall I was not satisfied due to the lack of English speaking staff and incompetent concierge and cleaning staff.
