The heat in the room was off when I arrived and took at least an hour to warm up Rodeway Inn is about as basic as you can get

Since we are a budget motel with little beyond basic amenities, we try to make our rooms super clean and comfortable for folks, and I really regret we missed the mark for you this time. Clerk was very nice. Check in was quick. The heating system was noisy & the room was extremely cold when we entered but warmed up pretty quick. The water running into the tub was very slow to drain. Great water pressure! Mattress was not so great. Very clean room.

This hotel was great. Pull up and park outside your room. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Guest laundry facilities were clean and convenient. There were a number of restaurants you could walk too and also a car wash nearby. We will be back again.

The owners were very personable. The rooms were perfect for two guys who are out hunting or fishing all day to come back to and get a good nights rest. You don't often find a motel that has a big game hanging rack on the property! Would definitely stay here again.

It’s not great, but ok
Nice lady at the desk but rooms, outdated. Little dirty. A/C never shut off was loud. Musty smell in room and bad smell with A/C running like mold. Was nice to open the door for fresh air the Buffalo inn was a better stay for us then this hotel. Need to fix caulking in bathtub it’s molding. They ask to give housekeeping tip. We may have if it wasn’t dirty. Staff just needs to check rooms better before booking.

Thank you for this review. I am so sorry to hear that we did not exceed your expectations. While our property is dated, we strive to provide excellent customer service and keep our rooms clean. We failed to do that here, and I'm grateful to you for pointing it out. Since you posted anonymously, it took a little time to determine which room this was, but we figured it out and replaced the caulking this morning. Additionally, we shared this feedback with our housekeeping team and corrected those issues regarding the thresholds. Again, I'd like to give my apologies and I hope you will choose to stay with us in the future so we can have another chance to provide you with an exceptional experience.

The people who were running the property were very friendly and happy to help. The check-in was fast. The room and area was quiet and clean. There was plenty of parking. There were places nearby to eat.

Great motel and service
The premises were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. My only very minor complaints were that the water pressure in the sink was so high it was almost impossible to not spray yourself with water any time you used the sink, and the bed was not very comfortable (but this also may just be because it was a box spring mattress and I always sleep on memory foam). I very highly recommend this location and would gladly stay here in the future if I'm ever in the area.

No smoke, no fire.
The young lady who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. Everything was pretty much what we expected from reading reviews. One unfortunate thing did happen. The fire alarm went off just before midnight which woke us up and we didn’t sleep too well after that.

Excellent service, better than at twice the price
Outstanding level of service for a no-frills roadside motel. Everything was clean and well-maintained, especially the pool. Clerk was extremely friendly, gave good advice about the area and things to do. Owner and staff went above and beyond by mailing my forgotten rain jacket to me weeks later once I was home. Remarkable people, and there's no substitute for that!

No way. Never again
Our room was filthy, outdated with the grossest shower I’ve ever seen. The room felt like a dungeon with one small window that didn’t open. The floors has not been swept or mopped in months, and the furniture was a outdated as the shower. I would never stay here again.

I agree the furniture is dated, however we are a budget motel and stylish updates are not really what we do here. Everything is very old and shabby. No door lock. Some light switches were gone. Holes in wall. Not exactly comfortable but okay for one night. Staff was very nice and room quite clean. Not much of a breakfast. Did not use pool.

Hotel was very clean. No breakfast which was disappointing. Beds not comfortable. Springs was coming out of mattress. Got a scratch on my leg from it. Pillows very uncomfortable.
