Pros: Its old world charm with modern day facilities.
Cons: Cant think of anything.
Location: Good food and places to drink nearby.
Fantastic b and b the Staff (Owner) were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had an old world charm. All the bedrooms have historical links to the Doctor who had the house built last Century. It was an easy walk into Town with good places to eat and drink. Can highly recommend.

Pleasant change from hotel chainsPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: The building was over 100 years old, but was kept in remarkable condition. It was nice to be surrounded in western history for a couple of days.
We were on a multi-state Rockies road trip and spent most nights with well known hotel chains. This B B had friendly and efficient owners who really enjoyed their vocation, and made their visitors feel special. A great change of pace.

Awesome stay in BuffaloPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: It is beautiful inside
Cons: Can't think of anything I would like improved
Location: Occidental hotel was very interesting. Was very disappointed in the Jim Gatchell Museum that it was closed on a Saturday in September!
This inn was awesome! Absolutely beautiful, and very clean. The innkeeper was extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was also wonderful. I would totally recommend this to anyone!

This is a really old Manison and it has nice furnishings for a museum and that is what this should be ran as. History is interesting on this manison and did enjoy the building story and history. This is just not our idea of a lodging for the evening. Felt it was over priced and not having photos made this sound like a special place.

Great rest in historic area.Posted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Hospitality of the owners was outstanding. Wonderful B&B atmosphere and excellent food. Proximity to the surrounding historic area.
Cons: that we could have stayed longer! Nothing to chance from our perspective. Thank you Johnny & Pam for your kindness, hospitality, and care of us.
Location: Location was great for a quiet, restful time. Lots of history in town, proximity to mountain activities
Loved this quaint, well kept, historic accommodation and the historic town as well. Liked it so well we stayed another day. Great area to just rest and enjoy the local amenities or venture into the surrounding mountain areas. Very friendly people and interesting shops.

Just lovely!Posted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Mansion is so beautiful, and in a stunning condition. I loved the breakfast! You had to make your reservation the night before, and at the said time, the owner would serve a freshly cooked breakfast made just for you; sharing the table breakfast with other guests staying at the hotel was quite nice.I would definitely recommend staying there, as it is a really nice experience; I would go back if in the neighborhood.
