Had a weekend break with friends, both couples were very pleased with the location & pub facilities. We would recommend it to others to use for short breaks

Good Pub Accommodation but Hotel Prices.Posted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Tasteful room decor. Food quality.
Cons: They need to lower their room prices to reflect the fact that they are a pub and not a hotel.
Location: Right on the sea front. Handy to visit Blakeney and Morston to go bird watching and out on boat trips.
The Two Lifeboats provides reasonably good pub accommodation. Room was tastefully decorated and food was good. It suffers from having no car park although charges from the local pay and display car park will be refunded. It is in a lively location right on the front and if you wanted to have a lie in I think noise from the street would be a problem. I think that the owners have made the most of the cramped plot that they have. The main problem though is that they charge hotel prices for pub accommodation so I can't say that it's good value for money.

Location and view were outstanding. Only problem was with the duvet which I cannot seem to sleep comfortably under: either too hot or too cold. For a seaside pub it was charming.

Good hotel for couplesPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff
Cons: The underpowered shower
Location: Right by the sea front. Lots of people walking by all the time, but as I like to people watch I quite liked that
The staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely stay. They were very generous with the supply of tea and coffee, but no biscuits! The accommodation would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems as the stairs were very steep. If I were to be critical the shower was underpowered, although it did its job and the water was hot.

A Relaxed and Welcoming Place to StayPosted Aug 12, 2013
I arrived during a busy lunchtime but one of the bar staff immediately greeted me and took me to my room, gave me a quick guided tour and told me to just ask if I needed anything at all. My (single) room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The shower was efficient and instantly hot. There was choice of cooked breakfasts plus cereals and fruit juices. Everything was well cooked and servings were very generous. It was lovely having a sea view and although the seagulls were about early, they didn't wake me. Unfortunately I was disturbed one night after closing time until well after 2a.m by a group of people who sat talking quite loudly outside the pub on the benches directly below my room. I enjoyed my stay at The Two Lifeboats and would definitely come back another time. I found the staff polite, welcoming, friendly and helpful which all made for a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere which, as a single traveller, I particularly appreciated.

A Big Thank You.Posted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Staff and Management were very helpful, friendly and made us very very welcome, we were asked daly if we wanted clean towels, tea and coffee in the room and the full English breakfast was excellent especially when Wayne was cooking. However the room for the money was a bit on the small side. It could have done with one bedside table at least, only one chair it could have done with two, a bathroom cabinet or self at least and a shaver-point

Great hotel for couplesPosted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: Very central lovely sea views
Location: Location very good, close to Cromer, holt, great Yarmouth 30 miles away
The two lifeboats,sheringham,norfolk......Aside from when we arrived and there was only one person on,we had to wait while he served one person at the bar,two more came up who he served before seeing to us,which left us waiting not long granted but when you've travelled a few hours to get there all you really want to do is get settled,he was apologetic, aside from that was a good mini break right on the sea front with sea view, breakfasts were excellent and the ladies serving we're lovely. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Stayed 26 June to 29 June 2013.
