“not impressed”

We arrived to the hotel at 1130pm and went to check in. We had secured a room through Expedia weeks in advance. The hotel claimed there was a problem with the Expedia portion of the reservation and told us that we were fine but they would have to contact Expedia at a later date.. Attempted to find our room and there was rock music playing from the bar that was sooo loud you could hear it all the way up to our room. We parked in the back of the hotel and went up a flight of exterior stairs to go to our room and found the stairs rusty, concrete broken on the stairs, security door not functioning and open. Left us feeling a little concerned about the easy access by anyone including non paying customers at any given time. not impressed by this at all, looked really junky.

I loved Texas. I would not stay at that Days Inn again.

The pool was a big plus!!!! Simple but all we needed.
