Family stay in ShimlaPosted Apr 12, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff. Value for money.
Cons: Bed linen not the freshest.
Location: Ideally placed for some peace and quiet at night yet walking distance from the main bazaars and some excellent restaurants and coffee shops.
A good value hotel for our party of 8 including two children. Pot luck with views, excellent from the front, none at the back. No problem with arranging an extension in the early season. Solid but comfortable beds helped ease aches from the trekking. This is a basic hotel by European standards but does not suffer from that.

Old and worn out hotelPosted Apr 10, 2012
Cons: duvets, towels, ac ,fan, bathroom
Location: Ok A log walk to the MAll
Duvets were may 30 years old and smiley. We asked for blankets, they were also old and worn out. Bed sheets were work out and holes in them. Ac was not working. fan had only one speed, fast and noisy. Bathroom had a sink in the corner. Towels were old and turning brown. Staff were helpful but couldn't help because the everything is old and worn-out.
