Love this place! I have stayed there twice now and plan on going back. Super comfy beds, delicious breakfast, and welcoming host Celine. Plus, cute puppies.

This property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The host is so kind and the breakfast is amazing ! So clean and wonderful. The only downside you should be aware of is that there is minimal cell phone service and wifi in this area , so just prepare for that and your stay will be perfect .

Although cell is very spotty in the surrounding area and at some places not available, we seem to have gotten better coverage with a recent cell tower update. Wifi has always been a problem as it's a rural area and there is no cable here. But we seem to be managing better with hot spots. Thank you for all your kind feedback

pleasant area, several amenities missing
Several listed basic amenities were not found, namely AC and wifi were non-existent; so much for checking in with work when needed. The provided fan did little to cool the room as we had to keep the door closed to prevent local pets from entering our room. The house itself was very nice, though lacking in some basic privacies; bathroom had a closet door, people outside keep up awake past midnight. Combining that with sheer curtains and no shades to fight the morning sun made for short and poor rest. The greater area was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious though painfully late one of two mornings. Our host was pleasant but...scattered, almost giving my spouse a bout of anxiety when our booking information was momentarily confused. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Overall I see where some of the appeal comes from but this was not the place for us. We won't be back.

So sorry for your experience. I discovered through your booking that AC was advertised on hotels.com. We have never had AC nor advertised it as such. I told them to correct that as we were not responsible for that set up. It is through a partnership deal. Wifi has always been a problem because there is no cable service. There was a hot spot available and it must not have been off but I wasn't aware. The confusion of the room, my apologies. Sorry to hear you won't be back. I'd be happy to offer a discount if you find yourself back in the area.

Beautiful night sky
Met some awesome people. My wife and I will be staying here again. The night sky was great. I think Cherry Springs is a bit darker, but you can still see an incredible starry night here. They had a fire pit we used twice as well. It was surrounded by chairs and hammocks, perfect to relax at. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms were fine, beds were comfy. Great stay.

Excellent stay
Enjoyed our visit at Oz' Homestay. The bed we slept in was made by Ash himself. Bed was made out of sturdy tree limbs and was very comfortable. We had a delicious gourmet breakfast. Enjoyed out visit; wish we could have stayed longer.

Friendly B & B
The owners of this B&B made all the difference in the enjoyment of our stay. The location is very remote with very little to do in the area ( we were in the area to kayak) but the owners are so welcoming and the food so good it is worth the drive. There is a pool table, hot tub and plenty of books to read so makes for a very relaxing time.

Unforgettable
Comfortable yet unforgettable -- Oz's won us over the moment we saw a picture of the beds. (Homemade, we learned, yet still quite comfortable.) The atmosphere felt like visiting a fun distant relative who lives in an awesome house, with friendly and personable service and lots of encouragement to use shared facilities like the common areas and hot tub. Note that for better or for worse, the building is pretty far back from the main road along a bumpy dirt road; maybe leave your sports car at home.

Great Stay
We stayed for a one night stopover on our scenic route to Gettysburg. The hosts were fantastic and the home is charming. We didn't plan to arrive for dinner but we did and they were gracious enough to accommodate us and even made some changes to accommodate me as a vegetarian. Thanks Ash and Celine!

Awesomeness!
Was offered a beer as soon as I walked in. Felt more like I was staying at a friends house than a B&B. Place was spotless and the host(Celeine) was such a joy to be around. Very personable and extremely intelligent. Her friend Jeanie lives there as well and was such a pleasant addition. Breakfast was amazing! Hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus. The scenery was oh so heavenly. Was worth the 6 hour trek. I actually enjoyed my stay as much as my end destination. Truly amazing.

Awesome Oz's Homestay a real treat!
Oz's Homestay B&B near Shinglehouse, PA was an amazingly positive experience. Welcomed as a friend, treated like family, The breakfast suffle omlet was to die for! Thanks to our gracious hosts for a wonderful - though all too short - stay.

Beautiful space, with kind down to earth hosts. We came to see the stars - despite the cloudy skies (no stars) we found plenty to do in the area. The hosts are very kind, warm and welcoming. The land is very beautiful - there seem to be a number of projects in the pipeline to make the space even more enchanting for guests. THe place has guest rooms and was fully booked while we were there - though it never felt crowded or loud.

Country getaway, great food, cater to special diet
We have stayed at Oz's twice and hope to go back. We recommend it for anyone traveling in western PA or anyone looking for a peaceful, pleasant, reasonably priced place to stay, away from crowds, with some of the most beautiful country scenes in the U.S.

Excellent, hospitable B&B.
This bed and breakfast was pretty much perfect. The owners were extremely friendly and laid back. There was a very relaxing feel to the entire place, and it was beautiful inside and out. It is also very out of the way of things and secluded... but also only a short drive to shops and attractions. We will definitely remember this place for our next trip to the area.

Great place to stay and relax
Not your typical B&B, located in the country with plenty of birds to watch. The owner went out of the way to accommodate our very late arrival. The rooms are fresh with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was fabulous! I wish we had more time to stay another night and visit the surrounding area!

I would go there just for the breakfast...
We enjoyed it very much. The décor, the rustic feel of the entire structure was excellent yet homey and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer. I am not big on breakfast, but I ate every bit of it because it was that good.

Lugar precioso
La llegada fue un poco caótica, ya que la anfitriona no nos esperaba, no sé si por culpa suya o de Expedia, por suerte no tenia ningún invitado más y nos pudo preparar las habitaciones. Respecto al sitio es espectacular, tienes ciervos que ves des de la casa, hay campos de maiz, la casa es bonita. Una cosa que no comentan en la descripción es que en la casa hay dos perros y dos gatos, aunque para nosotros no fue un problema porqué nos gustan, hubiese preferido que lo comentasen en la descripción. Una cosa que no me gustó es que no hay Internet y que al hacer la reserva indicase que si que había. El desayuno que nos prepararon fue buenisimo y todo recien preparado y con mucho detalle. Ojala hubiesemos estado más tiempo para poder disfrutar más del lugar.

Thank you so much for staying with us at oz! Yes, this new transition to Expedia made your welcome unexpected. We really aren’t sure how the booking came through as my inventory was not even open yet. But thankfully your visit prompted inquiries to get everything resolved before a busy fall season. A few other details have been missed with this transition including people expecting AC and an incorrect check in time. We will be contacting Expedia for corrections with our listing including pets. Thank you for pointing this out. WiFi is very spotty here since there is no cable. I’ve tried several different providers and still am working on a resolution. It’s a rural area. Thank you again. We enjoyed your stay very much. We hope the rest of your trip in the US was amazing!!
