“easy to get to and convienent”

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, The room was satisfactory. The shower had a spot of mildew in the corner of the shower but other than that it was okay for the purpose of my stay.

“Fantastic service & Breakfast”

All the hotel staff were so very friendly and accomodating!! From check in to check out, we did not have one person without a smile on their face!! The lobby and eating area shocked us. We have traveled over 6000 miles this year and never seen an area so nice with a bar/food counter that was amazing!! We ate breakfast at the hotel and even though there was a charge for the food (no more than any restaurant), it was REAL BREAKFAST FOOD cooked to order!! Will stay here again if we are ever in Shreveport. Only one minor negative was that water pressure for bath was extremely low but shower was OK and the tub drain looked rusted or something. Thanks, Marriott!!! You did this one right!

“Great stay short notice”

“A good experience - would stay again”

No fridges in rooms - no breakfast - everything is "extra" - they want you to buy all of your stuff from them. Otherwise, a good experience.

“Southern Hospitality at its Best”

The staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was very comfortable. I loved the ice water with lemon that they kept in the lobby all the time with disposable cups. I filled up my water bottle with that delicious, refreshing water twice!

Area recommendations

Riverfront and Louisiana Boardwalk. Because of casinos and shopping. There is also a large movie theater at the Louisiana Boardwalk.

Getting there

I took a taxi from the Eldorado Casino to the Boardwalk. It was inexpensive and relaxing to not have to drive.

“Good value”

good value. hotel located about 10 miles from boardwalk area. there was no microwave or fridge in room. Daneil was helpful in giving us directions to local restaraunts.There are no nice places to eat near this hotel.

“Heading West”

Great Motel - only knock is that they didn't have the free breakfast that the majority now provide to travelers. Having a small restaurant with in the establishment is nice for the businessman but not necessarily so for the vacationer who has been eating short order foods to get to their destination and want a nice meal at the end of the day.

“Comfy Bed with Awesome Indoor Pool”

The room was great! Very clean and the bed was the most comfy bed I've ever experienced in a hotel! The price was a great deal! They have an awesome indoor pool and hot tub! The area felt very safe! The hotel was easy to get to - easy on and off highway 20, and lots of restaurants a few miles from the hotel. Only downsides - no fridge in room and no room service! The room was very quiet! Can't wait to go back!

“Will be going back!”

Love the indoor pool and the jacuzzi. Staff was very friendly and the room was well furnished didnt have to ask for one thing.

The touch screen board in the lobby gives great directions.

Found a Great Sushi bar on Youree Drive Have to try it if you like authentic Japense food.
