“It was okay for a place to stay.”

It seems they saved money in 2008 by not replacing the windows. The windows were very drafty and thin, I could hear every bit of road noise and that's not good when traveling with small children. The tip jar at the breakfast bar really upset me. This may seem small to most people but as a frequent traveler I seek out hotels with breakfast bars and I don't feel a tip jar is appropriate for something that I view as an incentive. I also believe the cleaning service could do a better job in the bathroom. Specifically the shower area. I do not like to find items that belong to other people stuck to my shower wall or faucet. Not to mention it seems there was some sort of slime left on the shower floor. Was it cleaning supplies? Or not cleaned at all? Not sure.....

“Excellent Shreveport Hotel”

My large family had adjoining rooms. Everything was neat, clean, and in working order. We slept well. Breakfast had excellent variety.

“not impressed.”

Checking in was a Lil long even tho I already paid for the room in Advance. Didn't like the fact that I had to show card and I'd again. Then the clerk wasn't friendly. As I was taken a shower notices on the wall and shower curtins

“"Need to be updated"”

The rooms are in need of being updated. The window units are very loud. The bathroom floor was stained. Beds are hard.

“"I will stay in the casino area next time"”

I stayed there because is close to our office. It was my first time at Shreveport and after this trip I can tell you that there are better hotels for just a few dollars more and much more "after work" centric.

“Very nice.”

Close to airport but a little way from downtoen attractions. Had a minor power outage during our stay but it was repaired in a timely manner. Very clean. Nice, friendly staff.

nice boardwalk area with great shopping. Kid friendly with activities for all ages from putt putt to imax movie theatre. Also inckudes a Bass Pro Shops for the sporting fans and several restaurants.

Nightlife

The casinos along ghe river sre very fun. For the gamers I would recommend afternoon and early evenings. For the ones who just want to have a good time, there are live bands, clubs and shows. Almost like a mini Vegas. I would recommend the horseshoe hotel and casino.

“Pretty place with good breakfast”

The hotel atmosphere is great -- friendly, lovely garden, lots of windows, small outdoor pool and patio. The breakfast is exceptionally good and plentiful. If you're visiting Shreveport, the location isn't the best -- several miles west of town, off I-220, right by Walmart. Cracker Barrel and a Mexican resturant are in walking distance.
