Noisy inn!!Posted Feb 23, 2015
Room was very nice, dusty under the bed and some toiletries were out of date but overall very nice. Shower was a nightmare. It took a very long time to get hot to the point where my husband gave up having a shower! Breakfast was lovely and very big. Staff very nice. In the evening the noise from the pub downstairs was awful. On Thursday eve it was over at 11 pm but Friday night was terrible. The noise stopped at 12.30am!! It completely ruined our next day as we were shattered. If you are in a couple and fancy a few drinks I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem but when you have 2 young children this is far from ideal.

GreatPosted Feb 3, 2015
Simply excellent in all respect. Great staff, food and room, a perfect stay. A lot of other hotels could learn a lot from the Shakespeare Inn.

A warm welcome on a cold wet night in NovemberPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable nights sleep and very friendly efficient staff.
Location: Very close to Blist Hill and Ironbridge.
We only stayed for one night, but we had a very comfortable room. The bed was as comfortable as one you would find in a Premier Inn and the room was well equipped and warm and welcoming. the staff were all very easy going, but very efficient. Food in the restaurant is excellent and very good value. We have stayed in some 4 star Hotels that don't come close to this great little place.

A refreshing change from conference centres and samey hotels in a working week on the road. Cosy pub, comfy room, a great welcome & great food/beer!

Lovely Band B by the riverPosted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: I loved the location by the river and the fact that I could walk into Ironbridge with no problem to sightsee.
Cons: It would be nice to check in earlier than 5pm.
Location: It was near lots of tourist attractions such as the Coalport China Museum, Ironbridge, the Victorian town and lovely walks.
The room was amazing - really warm and well furnished - very homely. My breakfasts both days were delicious. Perfect if you wanted a walk in the beautiful countryside but a little isolated if relying on public transport or taxis.
