We stayed for a quick stop over and were quite impressed. We stayed in the new part of the hotel and were lucky to recieve a suite. It was clean, updated and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful - waffles and fresh plums, nectarines and peaches. We were very impressed and will stay again. Thanks

Would we return? Definitely yes!

Pulling into the hotel early, our family of four was pleased to find our room ready to check into. The front desk staff were courteous and knowledgeable about Sicamous and the surrounding lake region. Our teenage girls quickly went to scope out the pool area, which is equipped with both an indoor and outdoor hot tub and a suitably sized pool. After a comfortable night's rest, we headed down to a continental breakfast including a varied selection of coffee, tea and juices, cereal, granola and yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, toast and peanut butter and jam, fresh Okanagan peaches, nectarines and apricots, and,of course, waffles! I would have loved to see some whipped cream for the waffles, but with all of the other options, I easily settled for Aunt Jemima's and fresh fruit! The hotel itself is conveniently located about a five minute drive from the main boat launch and beach area. Within walking distance is a busy Tim Horton's for a quick iced cap or a Timmy's fix. Each day, upon our return back to the Best Western, we were greeted to a sparkling room with freshly made beds. The first morning, the chambermaid gently reminded me that I should be careful about leaving my purse and phone out in the open. She efficiently went about her business, working around us as we made a lunch for the beach. Be sure to get your thermostat set early, as fluctuating temperatures in the region make finding the right balance of hot and cold quite challenging. Would we return? Definitely yes!

Sicamous Weekend Visit

Pros: The king sized bed - so comfortable as were the pillows. Nice sized room.
Cons: Powdered creamer! No restaurant other than continental self serve breakfast.
Location: Fine. Faces the TC Highway so some traffic noise, but otherwise fine.
Very nice. Room was extremely comfortable - bed fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
