Enjoyed the location (right beside Timmies), the hot tubs and pool. Staff was great, and they had gluten free options at their breakfast.

Great stay

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Feel welcome even during a very busy time.
Cons: Less bulky pillows maybe.
Location: Unfortunately, you have to drive to go to nearby sightseeing (Sukwash lake) and town for dinner. We walked but it took us more than 30min.
Everything was better than expected. We had reserved ahead and when we arrived everything was ready and easily booked by friendly and efficient staff. They also made some good suggestions for dinner. Room was celan and beds very comfortable. Free breakfast also Worth it.

Lovely hotel in a very busy vacation community

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: I would have liked to see more 'real' food at the continental breakfast. Commercial cereals, muffins, toast, waffles. A quick carb fest.
Location: The lake and public beaches are close by. We really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were lovely. Clean and well kept. Staff were friendly. Free continental breakfast was nice.

Overnight stop

We were on our way home from Victoria to calgary and stayed overnight for a break. Great room, comfy beds. The pool was lots of fun for the kids. A breakfast was included - waffles, yogurt and granola, juice and toast. Great experience.

Really enjoyed our stay!

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Perfect halfway location between Calgary and Vancouver
Location: DON'T eat at Moose Mulligans Pub & Restaurant in town - VERY overpriced for not great food nor service. Our only negative in Sicamous!!
We arrived to very friendly staff and a super efficient and quick check-in. Our room was a good size and very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We spent time in the pool and hot tub and appreciated those facilities. The continental breakfast was fabulous! Lots of choices of all sorts of food, and local fruits. Sat outside in the courtyard to eat our breakfast and it was lovely and relaxing. Just a great place to stay!! (But don't eat at Moose Mulligans Pub & Restaurant in town - VERY overpriced for not great food nor service. Our only negative in Sicamous!)

Pros: Staff helpful and informative, great breakfast
Location: Nice to spend time down at the lake, watching the houseboats and other craft; nice little park
We stayed here for one night and very pleased - staff helpful and breakfast amazing. We had our evening meal next door at Joe's Shmuck Roadhouse and delighted.

Sicamous Inn, a pleasant surprise in Sunny BC

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Well appointed rooms; breakfast, warm pool, friendly staff.
Location: Sicamous is a lovely spot on the water for tots to swim, for houseboats and boating.
En Route to Vancouver we chose this spot as it is on the Highway and had a pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcomed us warmly with all the information we needed about where to eat and what time breakfast was served. The room was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean ,well appointed and had everything we needed. We heard no noise from other rooms which is a bonus these days. Breakfast was surprisingly good not the snack we had thought it might be There were choices of cereals, breads, bagels, fresh Okanagan fruit, even boiled eggs. The swimming pool was warm and we were the only ones using it. There were two hot tubs one inside and one out in the sunshine. The restaurants recommended were superb and we ate overlooking the water in a hidden spot with all the locals, a spot we would not have found without the help of the hotel staff. Great job staff!
