Cheap rate, but I would have stayed elsewhere

So many problems, where do I start? I was accidentally given a smoking room, but they allowed me to change. My credit card was charged twice, and the people working there behind the desk were not very bright, did not wear name tags, etc. Also one of the roads into downtown Piqua is closed so it is tough to get around, and a detour is needed. The free continental breakfast consists of only coffee and cheap mini muffins in plastic wrappers.

The hotel is old, has no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor so had to lug our bags up a staircase with exceptionally narrow treads. The room was clean and comfortable but there was no coffeemaker as promised. Requested one from the desk...one hour later it hadn't arrived so went downstairs again and then got one promptly. The breakfast was only sweet rolls and other high-carbohydrate foods, not very nourishing. While the location was convenient, there is another motel across the street which we'll probably use next time.

Location: Piqua, Ohio across from a mall
Bed was horrible, the head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed. For someone with acid reflux this was a huge problem. We had to sleep with heads at he foot of the bed. Not enough of anything in the room. I suggest people pass this one by.

Knights Inn in Piqua Ohio

It was better than I expected. They supplied us with extra shampoo upon request. The room was clean and it had a microwave, table and chairs, tv, wi-fi in the room. I would stay there again.
