Great staff. Great breakfast. Fantastic roomPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Room, breakfast/food, staff
Cons: Pool area
Location: Great location, walkable distance to town centre or a short tuk tuk ride. Easy access to Angkor Wat too.
Had a suite, the 'Ginger' room and it was fantastic. Breakfast was great in the restaurant, as was the food delivered to our room. Staff were really friendly and helpful without being intrusive or over the top. Pool was ok, not great - we stayed in the shinta mani resort also, which had a better pool, but overall I preferred the FCC. One of the reasons for this is that at FCC staff are there to help, always with a smile, without being overbearing.

nice design with airport pick up servicePosted Jan 30, 2014
Pros: design, location and free airport pick up service
Cons: their customer service should be geared towards pleasing the guests without asking for anything in return.
Location: the hotel has a nice restaurant with calming view of the river. pub street and old market is a short tuktuk away
over-all experience is great. The only let down is that you need to lift your luggage because there's a block of cement near the small reception, leading to the rooms. I observed that the room attendants and bell service keep waiting for tips even for the most little, slightest, minutest of service

Perfect 2 nightsPosted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is close to everything but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle (a few minutes walk). Beautiful suite with ambience , flowers and fruit basket, perfect for romance. Classy restaurant with reasonable price. Wish we had stayed longer. Would like to come back

Very comfortable stay with personal attention.Posted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for fourdays in Septmber 2013 and enjoyed the stay with the good amenties provided. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was was quite good. They provided the free transportation to airport. The complementary foot massage really helped to feel better after a long day of sight seeing. Though I did not use the services for sight seeing offered by the hotel I was provided with all the details. I would recommend the hotel wihtout any hesitation.

FCC Siem Reap owes a lot to its welcoming and efficient staff, who made our stay special. The Visaya Spa adds to the charm

Two days is plenty in Siem reapPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
FCC Angkor was a nice clean hotel in a great location for us. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was good enough to write home about (literally I wrote home about it). Unfortunately the beds are very firm and the A/C made terrible,e noises and just never really got cold enough. The spa prices are crazy... Go in town to eat and for your massages. Negotiate a rate for a tuk tuk on your own and hire a guide for a half day through the hotel when you go to the temples. Eat at Khmer kitchen and sugar palm. The raffles is pricy but nice place to have a drink by the pool!

bags of character, and value for moneyPosted Apr 2, 2013
Pros: great design and character
Cons: pool is a bit small and too busy
Location: great location in center of town on the river
had a great stay here, stayed in one of the pool view rooms ("poppy") very charming hotel, a sort of blend of 70s california style and art deco colonial breakfast was good, and the room was clean, comfortable, well designed and free of mosquitos staff and service were excellent - recommended
