Reliable but time for a spruce up
Lovely old villa away from the bustle of downtown. The rooms are a little tired and dark but have what you need. Good things are the friendly staff and willingness to help. Re the rooms, the bathrooms don’t need baths and shower over a bath is not fun for a tired traveller. The window to the room is not good either. It doesn’t help with light and doesn’t feel private. I like bathrooms with walls. I have stayed Frangipani before and always enjoy so glad I stayed but I know Siem Reap very well now and know there are other fantastic places to stay which are just as good value for money. However I still recommend for first time newbies

Cambodia experience
One of the complaint would be the comfort of the bed but I think the overall stay was good. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, the pool was good and the service was very good.

My parents and I stayed for 5 nights. Overall it's a great experience, great value for money. Highly recommend! - Staff. Super friendly and responsive, smile all the time They serve well. We communicate in English smoothly. - Pool. The pool area is great, exactly like the pictures, and with a Jacuzzi. Great for kids and family. - Room. The hotel has 4 floors, 3 floors are rooms + 1 floor reception and restaurant. We stayed at 3F. My parent's room was west-facing and my room was east-facing. My room faces the neighboring building which is only 2 meters away. The neighboring building blocked the light and the room is dark during the daytime. Parents' west facing room is bright without any obstructions. The room is tidy and clean. The plug points in the wall were a bit loose. - Breakfast. Great with porridge, egg cooking station, local noodle cooking station, pancake, fried rice, fried noodle, toast, cereal, yogurt, sausages, milk, coffee, and juices. Open from 6-10am. Great breakfast. - Restaurant. I ordered room service for sandwiches, and it was served within 30 mins (quite fast compared to avg 45 mins for most hotels). The sandwiches are really good and fresh. Didn't try other things on the menu. The price is a bit expensive compared to pub street and local restaurants. (sandwch USD 6.5, mains above USD 10) - Others. The only inconvenience is on the last day of our stay, experienced 5-6 power breaks, each time maybe 1-5 mins.

A perfect small hotel
The staff made our stay in Siem Reap an experience we will not forget. They were gracious, considerate and treated us as if we were individuals. The hotel itself is lovely, just the perfect size, the pool is a welcome site after a day of temple exploring, and someone there makes the best Singapore Slings I have ever tasted. The breakfasts are wonderful and the evening meals were good. We would recommend the hotel. Try to get a room with a pool view! Ours was lovely.

Communication Barriers!
Location are not too bad, but hardly able to communicate with most of the staff due to most of them doesn't speak english. Only a handful of top position staff are able to communicate in english but they are not in the hotel most of the time!

Lovely boutique hotel!
Hotel was great for the price we paid! The hotel property is very nice and had its own security, making our stay there feel secured and comfortable. Hotel also has its own tuk tuk drivers out front so at anytime you need to go anywhere it's very convenient. Also, we hired a taxi driver through the hotel named Lucky and he was super helpful! The hote arranged transportation to temples Beng Melea and Koh Ker. Lucky was great! Breakfast every morning was good and hote staff always friendly and helpful. Only complaints would be that the AC would take a while to cool things down in the room and that a few outlets next to our bed did not work. We mentioned it to the front staff but I think there was a language barrier. Also, our pillowcases and towels didn't smell too fresh. Overall, would stay again and would recommend.

USD 2 from Nightmarket/Pubstreet Room comfort: thin walls, dirty linen and towels Breakfast: below average quality, disappointing cold breakfast option Eating in hotel very expensive (main meals from USD 7), many cheap and quality eating options in the neighborhood. Tuktuk price elevated, better options if you ask people on the street

Nice hotel- Tuk tuk ride to and from airport cost $6. Wat Bo close to temple is nice to drop in during evening. The area towards the royal palace is also nice for a stroll and quite nearby so not just the pub street!! Good eateries around, Cambodian food is tasty specially the barbecues. Breakfast at hotel was good-loved the noodle station.

Excelkent hotel with terrific pool.
We found the staff, facilities and service outstanding. The staff in particular were courteous, obliging and very respectful, and their advice regarding Siem Reap's tourist spots was always accurate.

I have now stayed in Frangipani Villa Hotel, Siem Reap 6 times. To me it is my home in Cambodia. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool is gorgeous and rooms really nice and clean. The ladies at the spa do wonderful massages which are very cheap compared to Australia. Their chicken on mashed potato with long beans doesn't sound exciting but I think it is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten!!! I love it there!

Great hotel in Siem Reap!
We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved the place! We had a room overlooking the pool which was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel had great service. The breakfast was very good! It was nice being to sit by the pool after the heat of exploring Angkor Wat. I would definitely recommend this place for the price.

You Don't Get What You Pay For
I booked two rooms here: both promised as "Superior Double Room. King Bed." My friend's room merely had two single beds pushed together. Mine was a large poster bed, if not exactly king sized but close enough. Front desk staff were adamant that the second room was as billed, apparently confusing "superior" with "separated." After some time of exactly researching the dimensions of different types of beds they understood king, queen, twin, double, single, etc. and realized their mistake. However no reimbursement was offered. The rooms themselves are quite devoid of any amenities. There's a small bottle of generic shampoo, two tiny soaps and a bath gel -- that's it. So don't forget your toothbrush. The bathroom of my room on the third floor was crawling with ants. The free wi-fi was good most of the time but did experience some intermittent trouble connecting to my iPhone. The free buffet breakfast covered the basics and a limited number of omelette types were available. Restaurant staff during breakfast hours and mid-day were sometimes present, sometimes not.

With a scent of Frangipanis, and a touch of style
Very friendly staff, great long breakfast (so they cater for sunrise viewings), large clean rooms and quiet air conditioners. Tour bookings were easy and all staff can help with tours and approximate costs. They also have some sponsored Tuk Tuks waiting out the gate so you are never too far from anywhere. The waft of frangipanis are wonderful as soon as you are off the street and in the evening are greeted by traditional music and welcoming staff. Also for the coffee lover, have a coffee in the bar/café on the ground floor, outside in front of reception. Great place to stay.

Nice hotel near the main tourist area.
Not so big but all facilities available including a lovely swimming pool and good Wi-Fi. The staffs are very courteous with excellent customer service. Rooms are quite large and very much functional. Hardly 1 km from the main tourist area with adequate breakfast with many choices. Overall, a nice experience. Highly recommended.

Overall a great place to stay. It is near everything, has very friendly and helpful staff and has all the amenities you want. This is not a luxurious, posh hotel but it lacks nothing in the way of service.

Nice Hotel
I liked the hotel. It was in a good location; close to the night market and pub street, but not too close. It had a small, but nice pool on the hot days. The hotel restaurant was good. The staff were helpful. Our room was a slight disappointment. It was small and lacked any character. Our air conditioner leaked, but the staff promptly fixed the problem when we called. There were several marts around the hotel that were nice to have when you wanted a cool drink of a snack of some kind. I would stay there again.

Friendly, helpfull staff. Breakfast great, freshly cooked and really friendly staff. Hotel is lovely inside altho the pool is oddly between reception and the restaurant so not used too much. Door lock not substantial enough and our 'balcony' had a corrugated shht all around. The main problem is that no taxi and tuktuk drivers have ever heard of the hotel and it's a difficult name to pronounce for them to be able to understand.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days from 31st jan 2015 to 03 February 2015. We took a city facing room, initially we were given a city facing room on the 1st floor but there was hardly any view there since the roof was blocking the view so we shifted to the 3rd floor and that room was quite nice. The room is smallish compared to photos but they provide all facilities such as towels, bath gel, hair dryer, shampoo etc. The service was prompt and the staff are friendly, overall a very nice experience Some niggles: 1) the air conn in the room was very slow, the room was not cool enough and there were no ceiling fans either 2) the breakfast menu is more or less the same everyday and gets boring after a couple of days , some variety would be nice

It has a lovely pool area and garden. Rooms are spacious with good design. The staff are friendly and it has a personal atmosphere. They provided help with transport and booking tours. It was very good value.

Overal it was a great pleasure staying at ths hotel, ths place is certainly a good htl to rest after ur tiring angkorwat trip.. Coz simply ths are is quiet and far frm crowd.. Took around 5 mins by tuk2 tu the city centre.. And 15 mins on foot.. I would definitely revisit next time!!

I like this hotel.
This hotel is clean, neat and it is nearby the night market ( around a USD2 motorcart ride). The breakfast is superb, small buffet with western and local cuisine. Their bread is exquisite! I also enjoyed the swiiming pool.
